My mother used OxyClean, so that is what brought me to use it. We have washable puppy pads in our home for our two rambunctious puppies. They are trained to do their business on the puppy pads. When they do, I throw the puppy pads in a laundry basket until it is time to wash a large load of them. I add OxyClean to the bottom of the washer, load the puppy pads into the washer, and add Tide Original Liquid to the detergent tray in the washer. When I take the puppy pads out of the washer, they are like new again, no matter how bad the stains were when I put the puppy pads into the washer. The other day I received a dress that I bought on eBay. Honest to God it smelled like cat pee! I was so upset, but I thought I would give OxyClean a try and see what happened. It worked! OxyClean removed the cat pee smell and brightened up the Lularoe dress! I am thrilled now about this product more than ever. I highly recommend OxyClean as part of your wash routine.

My son has issues with his bladder at night and doesn’t wake up to use the bathroom. On nights when this happens it leads to another load of laundry. This helps with avoiding stains and odors.

Great product I don’t use bleach anymore I use with whites with hot water and they are so white and bright. Bleach makes clothes yellow.

I started using this Oxi clean stain remover a few years ago. Having a family that includes a toddler has left clothes with a little something extra when tossing in the wash and this has helped remove most stains. For stubborn stains, I add a little dish soap to the clothes, but in general, most stains come out. For a full load, I add 3/4 of the scoop to the load. Using this product has allowed me to use cold water more often and I appreciate the unscented nature of the product. Only additional advice is, if you are using a top loader, I’d recommend setting it to fill with water to the top to make sure the clothes are getting fully washed and rinsed; otherwise, you may have lingering product in your clothes.

Oxiclean is like a safer bleach that won’t ruin colors. I use it for cleaning all kinds of things from laundry to tile grout. The scent is mild and I haven’t had any skin irritation. I use so little at a time, this container will probably last me several years, so it seems like a good value.

So I was super skeptical at first. I used to use “regular” Oxyclean but we went through so much of it I had to buy it at the big box store in the 20-lb tub(u know the one? It’s huge!)
Trying to economize, I found a knock-off at Dollar Tree…worked just as well and was only $1 for 8 oz (8 or 12 oz—I cant remember but it was a decent amount of product for $1). Unfortunately everyone discovered its magic and the DT was always sold out. Then the world ended and DT couldn’t keep any cleaning supplies in stock at all.
So I went back to trusty Amazon looking for the knock off—it’s on here but people are gouging 6x the regular price. For what they charged. I could buy brand name OxyClean! So here I am. Unfortunately it’s been so long I couldn’t decide which was the “regular” one—there’s like 80 variations now which is dumb bc it does one thing—removes stains.
Anyways this one is supposed to be more ‘green’ (I’m rolling my eyes here too). I think I read it’s free of dyes and perfumes or whatever too…literally, who cares? It removes stains! It’s not like you **just** wash ur clothes directly in it.
So, it works exactly the same as regular OxyClean. It removes stains, whitens, does all the things. The key to removing any stain is letting this sit on the stain long enough to do its job. I made a paste of this and water and applied to chocolate stains I’d gotten on my white pants. By the next day, the paste had dried and I tossed the pants in with the rest of the laundry. Stains gone.
I had a pair of white capris I wore in early early summer and had gotten stained from the rusty screws on a deck chair(omg I was so mad!!). I decided to just dump some OxyClean in a bucket with hot water, and tossed my capris in. I only do laundry once a week, so the pants sat in the Oxy for nearly a week. I washed them by themselves and did a double rinse and they’re brand new.
I have in the past, used the bucket trick to remove ink stains from a red sweatshirt….it was literally covered (kids are so…u kno…) —after a couple days of sitting in the Oxy, the sweatshirt washed perfectly…red was fine and zero —absolutely zero ink on it!
I love this stuff and am so happy it’s here where it’s more affordable and delivered right to my door. Highly recommend!! (If you have kids, consider this a necessity!)
