I rarely write reviews but this ointment was much more than I anticipated. I use it on my face and hands. It makes my skin very smooth and it absorbs into my skin in a short period of time. It is NOT like Vaseline.
My husband uses it to repair cuts on his fingers due to extreme dry weather. This one is a keeper!

This worked on my elbow when nothing else did! I used nightly and put on an elbow sleeve, a couple of nights snd the terrible dry skin crumpled off this morning, revealing fresh baby skin beneath!!! Blew me away…I 100% recommend!

Cerave Healing Ointment lasts an impressively long time! It’s excellent for dry skin, absorbing quickly and leaving the skin feeling soft and hydrated. I even use it on my face, and it leaves it feeling smooth and supple.

I love how much you get for the price I paid. It’s similar to Vaseline and a little goes a long way! It doesn’t irritate my skin and can be used all over.

I have used a lot of Cerave products since first purchasing it 5 years ago. Saw this and decided to try it out too. I am very glad I did as this is now my go to moisturiser. I also use Vaseline – a very effective emollient but it is quite shiny and sticky, so I can only use it at night or if I don’t plan to go anywhere. Also Aquaphor, which I also like. Petrolatum is still the main active ingredient for all three. However, Cerave combines it with other ingredients that enhance absorption so it does not feel like it’s sitting on the skin whilst still excellent protective barrier. It is quite a lot more expensive that Vaseline. As a face moisturiser though, it is way cheaper that other night moisturisers especially considering that you only need a very small amount to cover face, neck, chest and hands. It even comes in huge tubs that will last you for ages! It has no fragrance and has added hyaluronic/ceramide benefits. An all-around win for me.

I have horribly dry skin that cracks and bleeds in the winter. This product is great for really dry skin. Best product I have used so far.
