I enjoy the menthol scent. A little dab will do to cover your hair, (beard if you have), arm pits maybe after you soaped them clear of old deodorant/antiperspirant. I noticed sometimes if my arm pits still smell a bit after the anti-bacterial soap I used to use the orange facewash for ackey. It works alright, but this also is great. The key to all of everything is to scrub/rub it well. As for dandruff, I can’t be happier. I use this every other shower with my regular moisturizing shampoo. Black polo’s are no problem. I have not even tried the other Selsun Blue offerings because I just love this one so much. Oh, it does cut the grease or anything else in your hair, it is a very clean wash. It just has other uses than just dandruff. Dang snake oil that cures everything!

I had to use the shampoo 3 times before it started to work. The first two times it actually made my dandruff much worse and I almost didn’t try it again but I’m glad I gave it one more shot. Now I have practically ZERO dandruff and I have had problems with dandruff and itching most my life. Now no itching and no dandruff. It feels great being able to put on dark clothes and not even think about dandruff. The only problem is the way it smells. It reminds me of a porta potty. I use good smelling conditioner after so it’s not a big deal but I would prefer a different smell.

I used this in combination with a fine-toothed comb (dandruff comb from Amazon) to help clear my scalp amd resolve the dryness. Overall – my hair feels clean, my scalp is moisturized, the product worked – I could just do without the strong scent. Avoid straightening your hair after using this product. Lol

I only need to use it a couple of times (like I’ve a week) for about 3 weeks and I’m back to using regular shampoo again. It lasts a long time. I just recently got this. It’s been years since I bought it. It worked years ago also on my SKIN when I had a off the wall rash. You can feel it working. Doesn’t hurt. But then again, I didn’t have any open skin for I got it before I scratched to that point. For the skin I would keep it on for ten minutes and rinse in shower. Once a week. In a month it was gone!
