So I have opted to swap to this toilet paper. First, I am a very picky toilet paper user, as in I’m a woman and I do not like to have toilet paper stuck to my body. I am not a fan of dusty rolls that might as well be tissue, which is, let’s face it, a dryer sheet made of cotton dust. I made the swap because my regular brand has stopped being sold or readily available near where I live. So, rather than pay an upcharge for buying it online, I decided to consider my environmental impact and tried out a few different rolls. If you prefer super fluffy rolls of cotton dust, then this paper is probably not for you. Some have noted that this paper is not soft and like sand paper, for starters, you don’t have to wipe as hard like you do with your cotton rolls, because its getting the job done with less effort. Next, sandpaper, really, I dare you to try and and compare…be gentle with your lady parts, not aggressive. If you have to get aggressive, your business not mine, think about investing in a bidet. Next, the amount of paper. Yes, the roll does look smaller, but that is because it is more compressed. I can assure it, using it normally, it has outlasted even many of my double rolls. I find that I actually use less of this because it is better at absorbing and wiping away without leaving things behind. This holds up during lady time as well. Do I think this paper will be for everyone, no, but then nothing is except air and water.
So, should you buy…
Do you want an environmentally conscious product?
Do you want a relatively affordable alternative to trees/cotton/whatever booty tickets?
Are you NOT allergic to the material used to make this product?
Do you wipe your business like you care about it?
Will you be able to try multiple rolls or give them away without being upset you spent money on it, knowing any product purchase is an experiment in figuring out what you like as an adult?
If you answered yes, then for sure try it out.

It’s soft, and works fine but it seems like a brown paper towel you wouldn’t want to flush down your septic. My first thoughts are I wonder if using this will cause for more septic tank pumps due to not breaking down

My husband requested that I find an alternative to the soft, quilted Charmin TP I was buying because they left behind little pieces of lint after wiping (gross!).
After a bit of research I landed on this bamboo TP. I love the subtle dots/divers in the design as they provide some grit to wipe with and the paper is very durable! It’s not as fluffy soft as Charmin, but it’s NOT rough either! It’s honestly very absorbent and comfortable to use. I would say it’s soft, just not the same soft you might be used to, at first. Easy transition though. Use once or twice and you’ll forget all about Charmin because it’s so much cleaner and you might use less. Not a single complaint! I love that the packaging is paper and not plastic. Doesn’t produce all the fluffy dust like other brands either. The individual packaging actually looks kinda cute in our bathroom. Tbh I don’t think the individual packaging is necessary, kinda seems like a waste of paper, but I suppose it does protect it from pets unraveling it.

For years I’ve heard of the negative environmental & chemical effects of standard TP. I’ve tried 3 other alt TP types & brands & nothing compares to Betterway! I love that it is more sustainable, made out of bamboo. It’s soft & gives all the standards of traditional TP & then some. I don’t ever have rips when wiping, nothing sticks after I wipe, & there’s no weird smell when unwrapping. I also love that it’s affordable & women-owned! I even bring this TP with me when traveling bc I’m such a freak about always using this TP!

I really wanted to like this toilet paper because I love the concept. It’s eco-friendly, it’s durable, and the thickness is good. However, it’s rougher than I’m used to and the rolls are a bit small.

I originally tried this product for it’s sustainability. That was about a year ago and I think t’s a better product than anything I ever bought from the toilet paper isle. It is a stronger tissue yet still soft. Plus each roll is attractively wrapped and looks good on a shelf. I tried, but haven’t found anything to dislike about this bamboo paper tissue.
