First couple of months I already noticed some slow but steady progress, however I also noticed some changes in my mood. Thinking nothing of it I kept taking the blockers until around 6 months later where I was having severe bursts of depression. Mind you I workout 4-5 times a week, keep a decent diet, and get out of the house regularly so these mood swings were not normal whatsoever. Did some research and found out that a small amount of individuals that take DHT blockers can experience depression due to the changes in hormones. Sad to say I am part of the few who experience this side effect. They absolutely work, just do your research on all side effects and keep tabs on your physical/mental health.

This product is horrid! I used it for just 1.5 months and I’ve lost all the hair growth that I’ve gained in the past 1 year. Everyday while I was taking the supplements, I lose over 100 strands of hair as compared to less than 20 prior. Not even worried abt the money but I’m so upset abt my hair!!

Took exactly one month and 2 weeks to notice a drastic reduction in hair fall. Post meno/ hair loss.
I then kept taking for another two months.
Then stopped (finances). Hair loss came back. At least I know for sure that this DHT blocker ACTUALLY works to control the hair shedding aspect, with regards to elevated DHT.
I wish I hadn’t stopped , but at least I know for sure now.
As for REGROWTH? I sure hope so, but you really have to give it time . Advanced trich products are really good quality – ALL of them actually. Although I’m not sure about his Nutra M (it contains alcohol).
I’m trialling a redensyl 5 per cent serum by REVIV for that part . I THINK it is causing regrowth but I need stronger evidence.

I was using, and still am, minoxidil 5%. The hair grew but, i needed something more. I tried this for 3+ months. Well, sufficed to say it worked very well. I didn’t want to use fernasteride. I wanted all natural. I experienced 0 side effect with my manly duties ;-). Minoxidil = grow it back, DTH = keeping it there. Now, my hair is back to being full. I do runway modeling. So, eyes are always looking. This did the job. I’m good.

This product worked well! I was in perimenopause and under a huge amount of stress at work. My hair was falling out in clumps and I had a bald spot at the top center of my hair. I am so pleased with this product. The shedding stopped completely and my hair grew back. This is my second purchase and I absolutely like this product. UPDATE: the beginning of the new year marks my the end of my 3rd month taking this. Ive added photos go show progress thats more visible on camera now and i am no longer using other products besides special shampoo and conditioner that i have been using since before purchasing this product and now only use this product. The first 3 photos are my hairline on October 1st 2019 and the last 3 are my hairline on January 8th 2020. You can really see the new growth now! The left side of my hairline suffers from more loss than the right side and you can really see the recovery its making. On top of the new growth, my hair generally feels better. I suffer from early hair loss that runs in the male side of my family that started at the age of 15 with my hair line receding and i just turned 20 and my hair has thinned to the point where you can see through it when light shines against it. So, know that’s NOT why I’m writing this…..
They recommend taking 4 per day, which
I couldn’t do. They were hard on MY tummy w/o food. I dry heaved a couple times immediately after taking two in the morning w/o food, but I PERSONALLY have a sensitive stomach, and because of my situation, my stomach was already in knots regardless. After eating in the afternoon I’d take two and I’d try to take one more at night as well- and my tummy didn’t hurt.
Then I saw my doctor… she prescribed me Spironolactone, (a diuretic for high blood pressure that also helps hair loss by fighting androgens). Which I assumed would work immediately. It actually can take up to 3-6 months to start working, and that’s only IF your hair is falling out due to DHT and/or Androgenic Alopecia, but my doctor says that mine is falling due to some serious emotional stress that lasted several months a couple months ago. I asked her if I should continue taking the supplements and she said that although it wouldn’t hurt, if I was struggling to take the recommended dosage (4 pd), then I probably shouldn’t, since it most likely won’t help my personal situation. She said, “You can take as many supplements as you want and your hair will still fall because you’re too stressed out.” She suggested meditation, 20 minutes of daily sun exposure (since I’m D3 deficient) and she urged me to eliminate refined sugars processed foods from my diet, and drink plenty of organic homemade bone broth.
So, I can’t say that Advanced Trichology DHT Blocker works, but not because it isn’t a quality supplement, but because My hair loss isn’t due to high levels of DHT, and since my tummy is extra sensitive right from from stress, it’s unable to tolerate supplements.
I believe that this is a quality supplement. Its highly recommended by many both on and off Amazon. So, I’d say it’s definitely worth trying, especially if your hair loss is DHT related. However, I advise getting bloodwork done first and a diagnosis prior to taking anything, especially since supplementing can deliver inaccurate lab results, especially if you don’t tell your doctor exactly what you’re taking.
It’s crazy to think how far science has come… couples can decide what color eyes they want their child to have, through genetic modification.
