They work well enough. And they are definitely cheap at a little over a buck a piece. This 5 pack lasted 2 years (one battery at a time) powering my garage door opener. Though it definitely felt like the last couple didn’t last all that long.
I’m trying a better known brand next, to see if they last longer. But overall, these got the job done.

What can I say… if you need button batteries, DON’T BUY THEM AT THE STORE!!!! You will pay 300% more that you can get off of Amazon…. So far theses have lasted well.
Tip… If you put new unused batteries in the freezer until you need them, the discharge rate is significantly reduced (they stay fresh for years longer). I do this with all my batteries (and non-liquid meds).

My garage door remote opener reported it needed a new battery. Of course, it needs some different battery than anything else. Followed in the instructions to pull the old battery, put one of these in, and working great again.
How long will it last? No clue. The original battery only lasted a year. If I remember, I’ll let you know how this did in comparison to the original battery.
