I typically don’t write reviews. However, I felt compelled to give my honest assessment of the Dental Pod.
I purchased the Dental Pod as a replacement for an ISonic device that recently died. When the product arrived I was pleasantly surprised with the packaging. It felt similar to that of a new iPhone. After unboxing the Pod, I read through the instructions and setup up the device (all of which, took less than five minutes).
I filled the device with cold water, inserted the included tablet and ran my first cycle on my clear retainers. The device ran for five minutes and shut off. I removed the retainers that night and was shocked how clean they felt when placed over my teeth. The addition of the tablet added a fresh minty (not overbearing) taste as well.
The overall styling is sleek, simplistic, and user friendly. The entire pod is encased in a silicone, the base is wide, which helps to keep it from tipping over, has a removable lid, a power button, and an external plug. Inside is a stainless steel tub that allows for easy cleaning.
Hands down, I am thoroughly impressed with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a product of this type.

This is a great product that delivers as advertised! I have Invisalign appliances that have discolored over time, even with daily cleaning. After using the ZIMA Dental Pod just for just the first time, the results were remarkable. Very easy to use, and a small size that has a small footprint on the counter.

I have retainers that I have had for over 30 years. They were in good shape as I have taken care of them However they look better than ever and appear to be cleaner than with just using denture tablet cleaners. The pod is a great place to store my retainers as well after each use and drying them and the pod. I keep the lid on loosely. I would suggest a better defined power switch. It is difficult to see. But not a deal breaker. So easy to use and looks nice and neat stored on my bathroom counter. I would recommend this appliance to anyone. I may see if my grandsons football mouthpiece will fit and get him one as well.

I got this after trying my daughters. I didn’t want to spend so much on a cleaner, but it’s very nice quality and works great. I wanted my retainers to be clean and scratch free. It seems to the job and takes less effort than brushing them. After I do my Invialign retainers, I clean it out and start over with my husbands old gross mouthguard. I think it’s starting to look better, but it says it will take 2 weeks. (It’s been 3 days). There is nothing I don’t like about it. It’s pretty small, not loud, looks nice, easy to clean and feels good. I even cleaned my wedding ring.

I finally purchased this as I had perseverated over which device to purchase for over a year and at 400 dollars a set of retainers I felt like it is worth investing in their maintenance.
The device is beautiful, small, and simple to use – 5/5
I find one design element odd only in that you have to plug in a cord at the bottom/base of the device but have to be able to fill the water in the device / seems like a safety risk from an electric shock standpoint.
Two observations – it is much louder than one would think – I can’t run this in our master bath without someone nearby hearing it. Second, it gets a bit warm – this was a concern and one of the main reasons I purchased this over others half the price is the tech reportedly integrated to monitor temperature, although the newer one seems to advertise this more prominently.
The retainers felt clean but I have only two uses in so will update further after more experience.
I have included a video to demonstrate the sound but unfortunately have to take my opinion on the sound level.
Overall rating 4/5 – will up this if I see much improvement in my retainers and downgrade if further concerns arise.

The product is easy to use, straight-forward in what it does. I have retainers that I’ve had for a while, so scratched, etc. It won’t take away the scratches (of course!), but leaves them much cleaner than other methods.

Needed a US adaptor to be able to use!! I specifically checked and was assured it came with an Australian power cord! It does not. Fortunately I have an adaptor so will give it a go. On first use, not impressive though, however do understand repeated use will give better results. Just am very disappointed that I have to use an Adaptor and this adaptor juts out over the bathroom vanity so is not a neat fit. For the price it should come as described!

I got this to clean my mouth piece for sleep apnea and I could tell a definite difference after just two cleanings. I wish I had it 5 years ago when I started using it. The sanitizing tabs are a nice addition as well, they are not an over powering scent or flavor. The only draw back for me is that it is too shallow for me to clean both of my mouth pieces at once, but that is just done to the size of my appliance. It works great for regular retainers and aligners. Thank you.
