About as expected, it is thick, but that’s what you get for a cheap one-size-fits-all product like this. Took a few nights to get used to having it in my mouth. Does seem to reduce tooth and jaw pain. I tried to stop using it one night and actually woke up to the discomfort of grinding my teeth, so I’ve concluded that it helps. My dentist told me not to use it because it is not custom fit for my mouth, but I can’t really stop now and still sleep well. Eventually I may get a custom fit one. I already have a lot of jaw/TMJ issues but this does not seem to be making that worse, if anything I have less frequent jaw pain since using it.
I have to subtract some stars because they switched the product on me after I ordered (this was many months ago, forgot to leave a review back then). I thought I was ordering multiple sizes so I could see if one fit better without having to try to snip it properly to size, but I got a box that said “new 1 size” on it and only had one size, so I didn’t get the product that the site told me I was getting and I was not informed prior to shipping. I have snipped it slightly and it isn’t a big deal to do that, but I still didn’t get what I thought I was ordering.

This mouth guard is a effective for nighttime teeth grinding. It’s easy to mold for a perfect fit and feels comfortable throughout the night. The material is durable and doesn’t wear down quickly. With four in a pack, it’s a great value for long-term use.

So I started grinding my teeth when I sleep. The dentist confirmed this at my last appointment, noting the excessive wear. He advised that he could make a custom mouth guard for me to use I said great, how much. He said $400 and 2 visits!
After I got up off the floor, I said I’ll think about it. When I got home, hopped on Amazon and ordered these bad boys.
So easy to use. Dip in a little hot water, bite and press and voila! Custom fit mouth guard that prevents grinding. Very comfortable to wear, I don’t even notice them when I wear them during the day. Yes, I grind my teeth when I read and work on my computer.
I say this as a gagger. The dentist needs to numb my mouth before he can get x-rays, otherwise I gag and throw up. With how well this fits, it doesn’t effect me at all.

I am using this product to help reduce “teeth clenching” while sleeping. The instructions are very clear. I trimmed a tiny bit off the back. Then immersed into a cup of hot water that was within the range specified in the directions. Let it sit for the instructed amount of time, then placed in my mouth to form. The material is very comfortable, I am able to sleep easily with the guard in my mouth. I really like the product and the value as you get four guards and several cleaning tablets.

Extremely easy and fast to mold for a perfect custom fit AND so much more constable than the night guards my dentist made for me for over $400!!! RealZeal mouth guards / night guards takes about 5 minutes to mold.
1) I heated half a small bowl of water in microwave for 2.45 seconds. 2) Soaked the guard for 15 seconds until soft. 3) Cooled it for 3 seconds. 4) Put it in my mouth. 4) pushed it with my hand from the front of my mouth to mold it between the front teeth and inner part of mouth/top lip 5) push the back part with my tongue against the back side of my top teeth and roof of my mouth 6) Bite down gently to create impression of bite between top and bottom teeth to a comfortable level

I’ve purchased this brand before to replace the expensive dentist night guards that I have found crack and break and are very costly. These are very reasonably priced, easy to mold and are more comfortable than the dentist made ones. They also last really long and are easy to brush clean with some toothpaste. The package I bought comes with 2 sizes and a case to keep one in. Although I’m an adult female, I find the small size ones to fit the best and be the most comfortable.
Highly recommend Reazeal brand moldable night guards!
