As with many supplements, it’s hard to know what’s exactly in them and if they are doing their job. I haven’t had any adverse reactions after taking these and I basically just cross my fingers and hope they’re effective.

L-Glutamine is one of those things that you need a requisite amount of in your diet from either foods or supplementation if you don’t have enough in meat, dairy, beans, nuts, etc. Some research indicates that in addition to gut health and immune system, it may also be beneficial for periods of recovery which if you’re a lifter you should be recovering *something* at all times. I’ve taken L-Glutamine in various forms throughout the years and I’ve never had any adverse effects and you can take it at any time, but some suggest taking it prior to a workouts to capitalize on any benefits that come from the immediate spike in plasma, maybe it helps as a preworkout, maybe it helps if you’re starting to get sick, maybe a little of both. Jury is still out on a lot of supplements because everyones physiology is a little bit different. See what works for you.

I really like this supplement and it’s value. You are getting a pretty large number of pills in the bottle. I take this in the morning as I have read from others that they find it slightly stimulating. I like to think it helps me wake up at work as I have to leave for work quite early. I have had no digestive issues while taking this pill. It’s very easily swallowed and it does not give me indigestion.

I really like this supplement. I was not familiar with N-Acetyl L-Glutamine so I looked into it. It is a powerful form of L-Glutamine an Amino Acid. I have had more energy since I started taking it. I think it is really improving my workouts and I am recovering faster. Dosing is easy just 2 capsules daily. I take it in the morning with coffee. I like Bulk Supplements they make good products without a lot of extra ingredients.

I use supplements to help close the gap between modern nutrition levels in our food and the levels that were there when I was young. But, in my opinion, the supplement industry has both some of the highest integrity companies, and some of the lowest. So I try and give a detailed enough review to get to know the company and product better, to help you determine for yourself whether or not you want to try this one out.
This bottle comes about 75% full, which isn’t too bad nowadays.
If used as directed it will last six months (!).

There is almost no scent or taste to the capsules, and they are easy to swallow with water.
I like my supplements to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and made in the USA. This says none of those. The product page says 3rd-party tested and cGMP standards.
I look into the supplement companies I use because I’ve come across so many questionable ones. BulkSupplements.com is one of the companies whose supplements I have used the most over the years because of their overall quality and prices. But I still look into the supplement companies I use because I’ve come across so many questionable ones. The bulksupplements site is functional, and says they have COAs (Certificate of Authenticity) available for all their products. I don’t see a phone number but they do have a chat feature on the site, and they have a listing on Google Maps with both an address and phone number.
I found an article from the end of 2023 done by an online lab which tested 15 supplements from BulkSupplements, and 1/3 of them did not pass. Reasons included some that contained almost none of the advertised supplement, one had toxic metals, and another had 2.75x more potassium chloride in it than was listed on the label (noteworthy because that is involved with electrical signaling of the heart). One thing I admire about them is that they went to work immediately to resolve those issues. Respect.
If you are getting their products it’s also good to order from Amazon because based on online reviews there are quite a few unhappy direct order customers with regards to shipping and customer service issues.

If you’re looking on adding 750mg of N-Acetyl L-Glutamine to your diet, this is it. The pills are easy to swallow, and 2 of them get you to the 750mg amount. This is a large bottle, containing half a year’s worth of this supplement.
The capsules are secure (no loose powder) and I haven’t had any stomach issues from taking them. They help making me less sore after workouts (and the following day) so I intend to keep using them.
