I am fifty four years old and i’ve been a runner for many years, and in the recent years I just keep seing my pace and stamina decline as well as my recovery time. I have been on this product for 4 days. my speed went down by 2 whole minutes per mile in my run yesterday I didn’t sustain it for the whole time, but I had not gotten down to a 9 minute mile in well over 3 years, and I really do attribute it to this product, because I felt natural energy that I hadn’t felt in a while during my run. And no other supplements, or anything else had worked. I am going to monitor it and I will update my review after I see if I am able to sustain this but I am just overjoyed that a product like this works and it didn’t cost so much money.

These aminos come in a tamper proof plastic pill bottle, similar to vitamins.
I take it for muscle recovery, 57 yrs old male, walk 3-4 miles 5 days a week and seems to make a difference.
Pills have almost no taste, or aftertaste. No stomach problems, with exception of gas once in a while.
Good value compared to other similar products.
Pro’s: price point is great, no taste, easy to swallow Cons: infrequent gas

After spending over $100 every couple of months on perfect amino, I decided to try this brand of essential amino acids. I find this brand to be just as effective, if not a little better, and it’s about half of the price, three small capsules that are so much easier to swallow than 10 of those huge pills. I think they even keep me regular! I take 3 capsules first thing in the morning, wait a half an hour before working out or eating and I feel like my recovery is quicker. If I skip a day, I feel more sore.
You can’t beat spending up to $20 every couple of months as opposed to $115!

Such a great product! I take it every morning after my workout on an empty stomach. I’ve definitely noticed a difference in how quickly my muscles recover from my rather vigorous workouts. I would highly recommend.

I am totally astonished by what this product has done for me. I have been reading on and off about aminos and was not very eager to try them, as I had a bad experience with them years ago. The ones I tried were ALL, not just essential, so I think that played a role. I decided to try these after reading another article how helpful they can be. I did not want to spend a lot of money for a fancy brand because I was not expecting any miracles. I have bought other supplements from Double Wood, and they were ok so I figured I don’t have much to lose by trying these. But OMG!!! The horrible pain in my leg/hip/glute muscles that was tormenting me for years resolved in about three days. I still can’t believe it after what I have tried over the years. Massage therapists, chiropractors, acupuncture, of course different kinds of exercise, yoga, sauna, massage gun, herbs, minerals, supplements, you name it. I would occasionally get some relief from the pain, but it would come nagging back. Sometimes it was so bad I could barely walk. I figured there is something missing in my diet that my muscles were so tight, I just did not know what because I eat pretty healthy. After the long time of pain, depression and resignation started to set in. When I started to take these aminos I had absolutely no expectations and I am quite amazed that my day goes on without pain and it has been quite a few days now. The other great side effects are that I seem to be losing a little weight, I am not so hungry, and I have quite more energy. Without the pain my range of motion is increasing too, so I can do more exercise. The good effects are just snowballing. I hope this will keep up. So thank you Double Wood! I wanted to share this experience for the people who might possibly lose hope that they can get better, just don’t give up, miracles do happen and you never know when you come across one.

To be honest, as a vegetarian for about 40 years, skin is awful. (Genetics, too. ) Thought I would try a couple months of amino acids. To be honest after two months, no changes in my skin, but no changes in anything that I’ve noticed, also means no detriments. An affordable product to try.
