I know not everyone likes to treat a cold with super heavy duty medications. In a time when maintaining a healthy immune system is more important than ever, products like these really stand out. Sambucus has long been a reached-for item in our family when we don’t feel well, and there are a lot of benefits to the ingredients here. For those flat-on-your-back head and sinus colds I do prefer mucinex, but if I can avoid taking a lot of meds during the day I prefer to.
I am no doctor or expert but I can say that for most colds that aren’t involving sinus infections or serious congestion this is a gentle, effective way to treat a cough and not feel drugged up or jittery. Win-win.
