I’ve been giving this Sambucol Black Elderberry Syrup to my kids during the cold season, and I am thoroughly impressed! I like this product for its expectorant qualities… if you are sensitive to more commercial products or prefer a natural alternative, this product does the job. The taste is not my favorite flavor but it is fine.

It’s too soon to tell if this is working, but I can immediately say that it is without a doubt the worst tasting cough syrup I have ever used. Be sure to have a cookie, a cracker, or any other desirable food next to you so that hideous taste can be somewhat squelched.

Taste like C rap OMG, think rotten fruit could be the flavor. Someone said it had a pleasant taste, i would hate to taste anything they think taste awful. I got non-drowsy because i don’t like to be knocked out but if i knew how this tasted i would of went with the cherry flavored one.
