I was skeptical but though why not, I was so sick of the cream and ointments. I put the little bad boy on and 2 days later the blisters were gone. They worked! They are super sticky, it stayed on for the whole 2 days over 1/4 of my lip while I ate and drank like normal with no issues. I even put lip balm on around it with no problems. So I’ll say again they work! I didn’t a second one on for another day just because I still had a bit of itching but by the beginning of day 4 there was nothing. No pain no itch, no mark. If you on on the fence about these like I was, just go for it!

This is by far the worst patch I’ve ever used and I don’t even apply makeup or anything over them. I’m a long time user of the little blue case brand ones and they stay stuck.
Started peeling up around the edges within a hour of application. I didn’t even get a chance to eat or drink before it started coming off. They also feel thick and bulky.
I’d give it zero stars if I could. I only tried this brand because I was able to get it next day and I can’t purchase patches anywhere local to me.
I guess the remaining ones can be used as pimple patches.

Definitely going to be adding these to my regular regimen for getting rid of cold sores quickly. I also appreciate that they add an extra barrier to reduce the risk of contagion. Had to knock off one star though because they are a lot more difficult to get off of their backing than any other hydrocolloid patch that I’ve tried. But I love that they are medicated. They stay on well as long as you have washed the area and dried it. They aren’t 100% invisible, but they don’t draw attention to themselves.

I Co-sleep with my baby and I was not going to risk giving him cold sores so this was a wonderful replacement.
Since cold sores are EXTREMELY contagious and I have a new baby, I ALWAYS keep it covered and am super careful as everyone should be!! My parents didn’t realize this and that’s why all of my siblings and I now get them too. And my dad got them from his mom! PLEASE KEEP THEM COVERED !
Did you know you can literally wash your face with a towel and if someone else touches it they can get them? And the only thing that really kills the cold sore virus fast that most people have is alcohol? In 1 minute it kills it, I think bleach and Lysol are 5 minutes ( and I’m not spraying that on my skin). I always spray my hands if there is even a risk I came close. Because you can also touch it and then touch another part of your body and spread it- and I mean anywhere if you know what I mean. Thank god my doctor told me the first time I got one and I learned that early so it didn’t happen to me, but this is kind of a PSA because so many people don’t know about this. Please do your research!! These things are horrible and life changing so be considerate of others and yourself.
I’ve been using fabric bandaids because they stay the best and I’m super allergic to the adhesive so it’s been horrible. I didn’t know these existed ! They even stay in place way better. The other brand name ones looked way too small so I bought these instead and they are perfect size!
I think everyone should have these!

I get cold sores here and there but when I get them it’s the worst!!! They look disgusting and I hate it! I used to get the expensive patches for $16 and they only had like 8 patches! When I decided to try these, Boy were they a life changer!! I put them on and it made my cold sore not look disgusting! I would wear it only when I am at home and when I am out I would feel comfortable not to wear one because the patches were working so good! Highly recommend and cheaper too!
P.s. they do stick well!

I started using these on the third day of my break out. They’re soothing and take the itching and pain away. The next day the blister had already started to scab over and by the 5th day started falling off. Now I just have a small reddish spot on my lip. I think they’re worth the price and I think they’ll work even better if I start using them as soon as I feel the familiar tingling and itching starting. My one complaint is the part that covers your lip starts to curl within an hour+ after applying. The part on your skin adheres very well. So well it’s kind of hard to remove. When applying, I made sure my lip was dry but I think bc the blister was moist it made it curl. I recommend not drinking or getting you lips wet while wearing. Last night I applied one and since it’s practically healed the dot stayed in place. I’ve tried all the creams, ointments and home remedies but I like these the best. They ease the discomfort, not messy and doesn’t get in your mouth, and work quickly. I gave them 4 stars bc of the curling on the lip.

It’s not a cure nor will it make it invisible, but it speeds up the healing process! Yes it has lysine, calendula, and zinc—but my theory is it helps help your cold sore because it prevents the cut from reopening and micro-tears due to dryness. The celluloid material also absorbs the weepy ozzy gross stuff which draws out moisture which speeds up wet stage till it’s dry. Then when you have the scab, the patch prevents cracking and further irritation! Get it, it’s a must if you get it all the time or just to have once in a while. They do have a 2 year expiration date but who cares
