So I came back to update review, in case this helps someone else. I found the troubleshooting page, and did what it said, covering the bottom of the pump with the bottom tank to protect the battery and motor, I rinsed the top salt pod container, and the plug with extremely hot water for minimum of 30 seconds to dissolve salt crystals. Then put in the distilled water and new salt pod, and viola! Back in business! Even though we have cleaned thoroughly after each use, the high concentration of salt is prone to have crystal build-ups and clogs. SO HAPPY it is working again!!
I would give 5 stars for the way this machine works, and the results, but 1 star because it stopped working suddenly altogether.
My daughter really likes the Navage system, she says it does a good job flushing her sinuses and helping her breathe better. That being said, when she tried to turn it on to use this last time, it would not turn on. We replaced the batteries, and still nothing. We have taken great care of this, cleaning as instructed after each use, and letting it dry on the caddy we purchased separately. She’s super bummed that it just stopped working after only a few uses. I’m upset also, as these things aren’t cheap, and I was happy to finally have something to help her be more comfortable.

I woke up this morning feeling congested, but producing nothing when I blew. This is the first time I used this after using some end of the year flexible spending. I was super nervous bc I am the girl that can’t even swim without pinching my nose closed. It didn’t hurt, and went faster than I anticipated. The “dr pimple popper” side of me was highly satisfied with what came out! Be sure to read the actual instructions 1st, not just the box top or you will waste a pod like I did. There were a few occasions where I did feel some water make it into my oropharynx, but I did not feel like I was being waterboarded. I have had some residual drips since, just have tissue handy. I can definitely breathe better! I hope this little machine lasts. For now, 5 🌟

I bought this for my wife’s use since she was having sinus issues. Personally I had never had sinus issues but thought it would be easier to help her use it if I knew how to actually use the unit. I tried it for 4-5 days and although I struggled the first day or two I sort of got the hang of it and could use it without the water running down my throat. Then about day 6 I started getting a sinus headache which I not really sure I had ever had before. It started hurting with pressure behind my right eye with more pain in my cheek bone. During the day it wasn’t too bad but at bedtime it hurt just bad enough to make sleep difficult. This went on another day and I decided to stop using the Navage. That was about a week ago and my sinus headache/pain has mostly left after days of Tylenol and finally buying some OTC nose sprays. During all of this time my nose was still fairly clear but it was painful to blow my nose. I spoke with my Dr and they recommend I immediately stop using the Navage. Long story short. I boxed it up and sent it back. Amazingly Amazon took it back. I am sure they will just trash it but once again Amazon stands behind their products. I realize that there are people that swear by this machine, including a sibling of mine who loves their system. But when it doesn’t work it can be a painful experience. PS. They won’t take the salt back even though I never opened the package so that is $30 down the drain. Good luck

I’ve been a dedicated Navager for many years now and my former Navage served me well for 5+ years. When she finally gave out, I ordered this newer version. There don’t seem to be too many differences in what I had and this one, but it looks slightly more sleek (if that’s a thing for something that blows snot out of your nose :)). Prior to Navage I used the sinus rinse bottle and that worked ok, however, the Navage has a lot more power behind the stream and I feel like it is really getting everything cleaned out and most important keeping me healthier.

This is a very good product. I was concerned that it would be uncomfortable to use, but the rinse is very gentle and does a great job. The cost is pretty much equal to a doctor’s appointment, so very justifiable in order to stay healthy. I’m very glad to have made the purchase.

If you constantly feel like your nose is blocked, this works great. I’ll admit that once you first start the machine, it does kinda feel like you just inhaled pool water, but once you get over that you barely feel anything. I previously just used a squeeze bottle with saline packets but this gives you a better experience and you can actually see it working and what it clears up in the output tank.

My husband said it works well and is easier to use than a manual netipot. You have to bend over quite far so the liquid doesn’t go down your throat. As someone who was barely rescued from drowning at a lake when I was 3ish, I can’t make myself try it.
