Really nice moisturizer with the benefits of Vitamin C. I’ve tried several other Vitamin C serums and they usually break me out, no breakouts with this one. Nice light scent and absorbs well, Highly recommended.

Depending on the season, my skin can vary from dry to normal to sometimes combination. My skin does not tend to be very sensitive. What intrigued me about this moisturizer is that it had three powerhouse ingredients: Vitamin C, Lactic Acid, and Niacinamide. My skin does well with any and all of these so I had to give this a try.
First, this is full of all sorts of other good ingredients (I’ll put the full list below). There is a decent amount of product even though this is a bit of a higher price point. I was a little disappointed to find that the bottle is plastic and not glass though- especially for a more luxury-end brand.
The consistency is lightweight and slightly thin but still moisturizing. It goes on very easily (a little goes a long way) and absorbs quickly. It has a very light fragrance that dissipates pretty quickly. I love the pump design of the bottle as well- I really hate moisturizers that are in jars as I just feel the extra exposure to air can’t be good for the product. The fact that this is sealed is also really important because of the vitamin C which can have a tendency to oxidize and be less effective.
I have been using this pretty regularly as a day time moisturizer and it has definitely given my skin a nice glow and looking much brighter. It also goes on great under makeup. as a tip, Vitamin C (along with some of the other right acids like Lactic Acid) are great combos with Retinol but they should not be used at the same time as the retinol renders vitamin C ineffective and certain acids with retinol can cause reactions.
I haven’t tried too many Dennis Gross products but have always heard good things about them. I’m so glad I tried this because I think it may be exactly what I had been looking for with the combo of vitamin C and so many other great ingredients!

I was surprised at how large the bottle was! You get a lot of product for the price which is excellent!
i’ve just begun using it so I can’t really determine that quickly if it’s working or not but my first impression of the product are that the packaging feels low end, at this price point I expect the jar to at least be made of glass and not plastic. But cheap packaging aside the product itself is what matters. It seems to control my oil throughout the day i feel like I don’t really need to blot as much.
The serum feels hydrating and has a chemical like “cosmetic” smell. It’s not overwhelming but it’s not unscented either. It applied very easily and absorbed into my skin very quickly.
the ingredient list is what caught my attention. There’s some great actives in this serum that will help with radiance, hydration and texture. Only time will tell if the actives are high enough to get some serious results.
I wish brands would label percentages of their actives so the consumer can see exactly what they’re getting.
I would give them 5 stars if things like this were implemented with transparency and the packaging felt more correct for this price point.
Overall it feels like a good serum and these are easy changes to make that I think would take this to the next level!

I have acne-prone skin that’s been sensitized from prescription tretinoin. I’m also outdoors for hours every day in a tropical climate, so I have hyperpigmentation. Lactic acid has always been one if my fave actives because it works, but it doesn’t irritate me for some reason (always do a patch test first!). The packaging is not only sleek, but the air tight pump bottle protects the delicate antioxidants from exposure to light and air, so the ingredients remain stable and more effective for a longer period of time. The formula has a light texture that spreads easily, a little goes a long way, and absorbs easily. It’s not sticky, it has a light scent that dissipates quickly. Tip- this can ball up with certain other products- if you’re wanting to use an oil, use this first, then wait a few minutes to prevent it from doing that. I’ve had no irritation, and my skin is smooth and glowing. I’m happy!

It tingles and itches, It hasn’t turn my face red so I’ll test a little longer to see how it turns out but the first impression isnt amazing. I also dont know why I assume it’s fragrance free, it carries a bit of strong scent. It has an amazing texture though.
