This is a nice gift set with step by step instructions on how to effectively use each product. Very moisturizing and with continued use, I could see it being beneficial for those who live in colder climates to calm dry skin.

I had never tried the Babor line before, and ordered the kit as a convenient way to test four products.
First: “gift set” — who would give a set of sample-sized products as a gift? I’m not sure that’s a huge market, but for a company that touts its “Babor loves our planet” environmentally-friendly approach, they sure use a lot of packaging. It was painful to tear off layers to get to four miniature products, each of which might pass as a sample-with-purchase at Sephora.
On to the products themselves.
– The face wash has a patented “LipoTherm formula” which is supposed to warm the skin. I have not felt that, but perhaps I don’t spend enough time washing. The cleanser is very moisturizing, but my face doesn’t feel as clean as I want my face to feel post-wash.
– The Hyaluronic Acid ampoule: the set comes with three little glass bottles, theoretically enough for three days. I find that I can cover my neck and face with 1/2 ampoule. My face feels moisturized, but nothing special.
– Eye cream. A little runny. It’s fine, but not my favorite eye cream by far.
– Hydro cream. Ditto to the eye cream.
The advertised “intense plumping and hydration” is not happening for me. I will continue to use the products, except for the ampoule because it’s gone.
This set could be ideal for someone with sensitive skin, which mine is not.

This pack have set of skin care products, and all are good on my skin. I have tried the cleanser; eye cream and moisturizer and I see difference in my skin tone. Mainly I like the moisturizer cream, it gives back the moisturizer missed on my face. I have dry skin and this product works well for me. It has very mild smell. I like the quality of the product. I don’t see any noticeable marks on my face after use. Great pack of skin care products.

Babør does not disappoint with their skincare products.
This gift set contains products that target the issues my 49 year-old skin currently has, mainly lack of moisture and emerging fine lines and wrinkles.
First of all I’m super impressed that their products are fragrance free. I feel it’s so important to not add perfuming ingredients that could irritate folks who are sensitive.
I do notice a slightly floral scent to the cleanser but it’s very light and pleasant and rinses off cleanly.
Here are my takeaways:
Cleanser – cloudy, gel-like consistency, slight floral scent. I notice that this warms up as I put it in my hand but I don’t notice that warming sensation on my face. Does a great job of removing makeup and leaves my skin feeling soft, not stripping it at all.
Hyaluronic Acid ampoule – I love ampoules for their concentrated ingredients that target a specific skin issue, in this case, hydration. Hyaluronic acid helps the skin retain water in a huge way and these ampoules are packed full of 8 different kinds. It glides on my skin like a gel and quickly soaks in.
Hyaluron Cream – Glides silky smooth onto my skin, absorbs nicely, leaving no stickiness behind. I apply this over the hyaluronic acid serum. Leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated.
Eye Cream – Probably my least favorite product. It’s rather runny for an eye cream and I prefer thicker ones. Moisturizes decently.
All together, these skincare products have made my skin look plumper, moisturized, and more elastic.

BABOR is a well-respected German beauty brand, probably best know for their serum ampoules—single use doses of intense, high impact serums.
This Hydro Filler kit includes small, but not trial, sizes of a full morning/evening skincare routine, starting with the Detox Lipo cleanser, which BABOR describes as, “A unique, deep cleansing balm with an anti-pollution effect.”
It’s a sort of half-balm, half-gel cleanser designed to be applied to dry skin, gentle massaged in, and then rinsed clean. It’s not my absolute favorite, but did leave skin feeling soft and smooth.
The next step is BABOR’s Hyaluronic Acid serum, the bestselling Hydra Plus ampoule. You snap off the glass top and apply generously to your face, neck and decollate. Hyaluronic Acid helps skin better retain and absorb moisture and can have a slight plumping effect, particularly on mature or very dry skin. If you’re not already using HA serum you’ll likely notice a fairly immediate difference. This is a high quality, gentle formulation that I liked quite a bit, but it’s also super pricey.
Next is the lifting eye cream, which helps moisturize and depuff the delicate eye area. I don’t use eye cream every day, but this seemed like a decent one. Gentle and not too heavy, you can dab it on and it sinks in quickly, leaving you feel slightly refreshed, without looking shiny.
And the final step—well, you should be using SPF somewhere in that routine, but that’s unfortunately not included here—is the Hyaluron Cream, which BABOR calls “A light textured cream with a multidimensional moisturizing effect.” I found this absorbed quickly and left skin feeling soft and hydrated, but I wasn’t blown away by either its effect or feel.
In general, I agree BABOR’s best are its serums, but everything here was high quality, even if not my absolute favorite and it’s a decent way to try various products from their Hydra line. The set would also make a nice gift.

Great travel skincare set! I like that all the products are super hydrating and did not cause any irritation or redness for my sensitive skin. The cleansing balm is great for a double cleanse and the serum is very hydrating, especially if you have dry skin. I definitely plan on repurchasing the full size of each product.
