This is definitely a luxurious set. From the package to the actual product. Came in a neat box, ready to be gifted (if needed).
The cleanser (Truffle Therapy Morning Dew) is very moisturizing and slippery. I thought it was going to be difficult to remove it but not, it was easy to clean with warm water. It has a coconut scent (truffle?).
The toner (Truffle Therapy Face Toner) also has a coconut scent. It gets absorbed very easily. It is recommended to apply it with a cotton ball, but I usually do it with my hands. It preps the skin nicely for the next product. There are some toners that feel like oily and others like “regular water”, this is more on the side of “regular water”.
Regarding the ingredients, they are great quality, except the Morning Dew has fragrance which is rated EWG-8, highly toxic. Hopefully that can get replaced with a natural option.

I know how expensive these Skin & Co. Products are, but sometimes that’s because they are worth it. This is one of those times. The fragrance is lovely. The face wash is creamy and gentle on your face. Then, when you use the Toner, your skin feels like a million bucks. I highly recommend these products.

So many facial cleansers market to makeup wearers who need to prep and strip daily. I just want something to make me feel clean and fresh.
I found Skin&Co when a friend passed on the toner from a sample box. I lucked out when theorning Few set went on se recently. It has worked better at taming rogue outbreaks and evening out dry patches than any other cleanser/toner/Moisturizer set I have tried (including Arbonne and Andalou)

SKIN & CO Morning Karma Cleansing Set
The cleansing set arrived beautifully wrapped in white tissue paper with a Skin & Co sticker. As a fun bonus there was a resealable bag with four sample products inside. Unwrapping the tissue paper revealed a branded box with a ribbon on top. Pulling the ribbon pulls out the pretty interior box which holds the two bottles of cleanser and toner. Unboxing this set was a delight, which makes the set very giftable. All ingredients are listed on the outside box (both products) and each bottle.
Both clear plastic bottles are 200 ml / 6.8 fl oz. The cleanser has a pump which had to be twisted to open, and the toner had a silver safety seal under the screw on lid.
The “Morning Dew” cleanser is an amber-colored gel with a strong, blended scent (the company describes it as citrus, lavender, and papaya) that I really liked. I found it to be a gentle cleanser that did its job well. I’ve been applying one pump to wet hands and gently rubbing them together, which has created a good amount of white lather. My face felt very clean and soft, not tight. This cleanser is alcohol-free and contains calendula (marigold) flower extract, which is a soothing antioxidant, as well as cucumber fruit extract (also soothing). Glycerin and tuber melanosporum (black truffle) extract are the key moisturizing ingredients. The ingredients that might be an issue for some are the perfuming ones: “parfum/fragrance” (a generic term that could be one or more of many various chemicals) and coumarin (one of the “EU 26 fragrances” that must be labelled separately because of allergen potential), but it’s last on the list. There are also a lot of botanical extracts and a small amount of citric acid (2nd to last on the list).
The clear toner is also alcohol-free. It has water as its first ingredient and witch hazel leaf water (a very gentle form of witch hazel) as the second, but there isn’t any witch hazel scent; it’s almost unscented (that’s how diluted and gentle this form of witch hazel is). Many of the same ingredients are in this toner (black truffle extract, cucumber fruit extract, glycerin, and a lot of botanicals). However, the toner also contains niacinimide, which is a great anti-acne ingredient that my acne-prone, combination skin is appreciating. Again, parfum/fragrance and coumarin are the two that are most likely to be allergenic, but coumarin is again the last ingredient on the list. This will be a great toner for me during the summer. It’s not the gentlest toner I’ve ever used though, so may be too much for some.
Vegan. Cruelty free. Both bottles have icons stating that the products are good for 12 months after opening. Made in Italy.
