From someone who’s tried many, many sunless tanners across all brands (mainstream and less well-known alike!). SUNlabs is perfection, I’m just deeply sad I hadn’t discovered it until now!
Tried this in ‘Very Dark’ to just “go for it” while there’s still a week of summer left; though I am fair/light-skinned and could’ve seen noticeably tanned results with even the ‘medium’ shade. So just pointing out my intentionally drastic shade choice for my skin tone, as it could’ve gone horribly wrong, but I am prefacing my review with this as it didn’t and to highlight that it’s so natural looking I’m dying with glee!
This is a GORGEOUS deep cool color, NO orange tone, supremely clean + MOISTURIZING formula, NO bad tanner smell AT ALL and actually loving the natural cherry scent! (For those of you who prefer unscented, note: the lovely fresh cherry scent is just the smell of the product in liquid form—goes away once dried! Which is 15-20min. Doesn’t smell up your towels or clothes. Minimal transfer to clothes noticed.
It’s malleable, is I guess how I’d best describe the formula… it is thin and almost serum-like rather than lotion consistency. So, for application you want a thin even layer, which you can build once dried. If you overcoat before letting the first round dry fully, it can start blotching up and ruining the initial even coat.
That said, I think it’s AMAZINGLY easy to work with: *glides on gorgeously; like a coat of silk* and while it dries fast such that your skin is dry in as little as 2-15 mins…. there’s still a chance of tackiness if you try to reapply anything to your skin until allowing the full 6-8h to ‘bake in’… which also means you won’t have to vigorously scrub the skin off your hands if you notice a stain the next day.
I apply using rubber gloves, as I find this formula to be so gorgeous actually and delicate for use with the glove, insofar as it’s hydrating but Super LIGHT. So, a little goes a long way, but with the glove I feel some of the oils get lost in transfer and not absorbed by my skin.

This was such a waste of time. I even asked my husband to apply it to my back and the back of my legs. I left it on for four hours, and when I rinse it off, there was no color change.

I’ve been using this product for 12 years. I have had hundreds of compliments on my beautiful tan. so, as long as they make it I will buy it! There is nothing better out there and trust me I’ve tried just about all of them. I’m allergic to the sun so it’s a god send to have this product. Well worth the money!!

I used this tanning lotion so that I had a base tan before I went to the beach but what ended up happening is the tanning lotion actually blocked the sun so when I was showering each day at the beach, the tanning solution kept coming off and I wasn’t getting tan from the sun because it took days for the solution to come off of my skin but in the meantime it was blocking the sun from me getting a tan so this product is only good if you need a quick tan like if you’re going out to a wedding or a one night dinner or something, it’s not good for prior going to the beach but I read reviews of people that said it was good for a base tan for going to the beach that’s why I bought it. well that is not true. It took 4 days for the solution to come off so when it finally did it was time to come home from the beach and I had no tan from the beach. I was pretty disappointed with this product

I’ve been searching for a good self tanner that won’t streak and doesn’t smell bad. I tried this product after my shower last night and I was amazed.
I’m naturally very white but I run outside so my top half of me is very tan but my stomach doesn’t match. I wanted to find something that will even me out – THIS IS IT!
Virtually almost no smell at all! I couldn’t believe it. It goes on dark so you can tell what it will look like after you wash it off.
I put it on at 12am and slept overnight, woke up at 7am and rinsed off. I look like I went and did a mystic tan (which I hate but love the after affects)!! I only ordered the small size in case I hated this product, now I’m going to go and buy the biggest one they have.

This item has been great! Im used to using the expensive self tanners from ulta and spending soo much money on them until I found this! This is the best self tanner I have ever purchased! The bottle lasts me about 2 months and I probably use it about 1 a week or every other week. Great quality

I’ve tried so many self tanners, lotions and creams and mouse and really all of them. This is more like a gel that you spread out. You can see that you’ve covered an area and it’s not greasy or anything. Instantly soaks into your skin. I was a little worried, I felt like I had some streaky areas from me applying it, but it was very even, a few hours later I was completely tan and not at all orange. I will be sticking with this product for sure. I bought the Medium, I have pretty fair skin and it’s maybe a bit darker then my normal real sun tan color, which I love.
