These UV patches are a genius idea, great for those with sensitive skin. They not only add an extra layer of UV protection, but they also act as skincare because they are infused with peptides. I love a double duty product! The patches are very thin, so they are not really that noticeable on the skin. They are pretty comfortable to wear and after a while I don’t feel them anymore. Perfect if you are going to be out in the sun all day.

– good adhesion. Will stay on even when you sweat (a little)
– Almost invisible. You can only detect it because the sticker reflects light in a different way
– does not pull on facial hair or skin when removed
– ok sun protection. The curved design allow me to put it closer to my under eyes area
– no sticky feeling once removed. Doesn’t irritate my skin
Cons:
– once removed it’s impossiblE to put it back so make sure you get the location right before committing
– it’s very light weight but you will still feel it on the skin
– No info on how long this can protect the skin from sun. I kept it on for 2 hours
– expensive than your regular sunscreen

I wear SPF pretty much everyday so I was interested in trying Franz UV Patch 50+ Sun Protection Patches. The directions aren’t too clear, but main thing to realize is that there are 2 steps to remove all of its backing. You’ll be left with a very thin covering.
They aren’t very noticeable unless you try to move them once applied like I did. In that case, the edges roll up just a very small amount, but just enough to make them more noticeable.
I wore them for 10 hours during an outside activity I had on a sunny day and didn’t have any irritation.
However, main thing I disliked about them is that they are not easy to remove. On the contrary, even though I removed them slowly, it was still pulling on the skin around my eyes. Didn’t like that at all.
These are reasonably priced and I’ll probably use up the ones I ordered, but not sure if I would order again due to the pulling when taking off.

I like that it keeps my eyes protected from the sun, but depending on how long you wear them or how sweaty you get, they can feel a little uncomfortable. I’d prefer something that I don’t notice I’m wearing.

These sunscreen patches are made to go on your face, and are intended to provide SPF protection while hydrating. The fact that they’ll only cover a part of your face means they aren’t a fully effective sun protection agent, and you’ll need to wear sunscreen anyway. Additionally, it’s obvious you have a plastic-type patch on your face. Just get a good spray/liquid SPF and ensure your sun protection.

Honestly, I would rather spend the $10 on facial sunscreen that will last me for a month or two than spend it on these four patches that will be used up in two days. They aren’t transparent, so it feels weird wearing them out in public. And I just wasn’t comfortable in them. At least sunscreen rubs in and you forget it’s even there. These, I never forgot I was wearing them!

This is a great idea and I do love the way my skin felt afterwards, But I will say the entire time it felt very uncomfortable and I kept lifting from my skit’s again making it noticeable.
I think the execution is a little weak and it just keeps moving around and making it to where I just took it off completely.
On a good note, my skin felt softer and hydrated. I might use it anything other than outdoor use.

These sunscreen patches do work as a sunscreen. They seem to stick well to my wife’s skin. However, they look odd. We can’t imagine just wearing these out and about. They are acceptable at a water park or other very sunny environments, but why not just put sunscreen on, rather than wear thin, clear patches which don’t even cover everything? They do seem to have a wrinkle relaxing effect not dissimilar to frownies. I don’t know that we would order these again, hence, three stars.
