This is a great duo of skincare products. It arrives in a lovely gift box that you would be proud to surprise someone with, plus it’s made from 100% recycled content.
Included in the set is a recovery serum and SPF 30 sunscreen balm. The recovery serum is used first, and then the sunscreen balm is applied. Both products feature a pump dispenser which is convenient to use, and the balm has a very mild and enjoyable fragrance.
One thing I like about the sunscreen balm is that it doesn’t feel greasy, and it absorbs into the skin quickly. There’s nothing worse than a moisturizer that leaves a greasy feel and appearance.

I feel like this is making my skin look ultra supple. It is a nice duo and I love the spf for my outings. It does not have a white cast or oxidize on my face. The serum is lovely and thin enough to penetrate my skin well. Both play well with makeup!

For its size, this product lasts a long time. With just one full pump, I can cover my entire forehead, and three generous pumps are enough for my neck and face. It spreads easily, so a little really goes a long way. While it does leave a slightly oily feeling, it’s not heavy—more like a noticeable presence rather than a burden. The formula is lightweight and dries nicely after a few minutes. I appreciate the texture; I’ve been using it for several weeks now, and it hasn’t caused any breakouts or sensitivity issues, which is great. The only downside is that I can’t apply it near my eyes without experiencing tearing or stinging, which can be intense. Nonetheless, I enjoy this sunscreen serum enough.

This is an awesome gift set! Packaged very well. Eye catching to me. The SPF is very nice! Gentle on skin and does not irritate or burn eyes when used on the face. Protects skin from the sun while being gentle on skin. Great to give as a gift or gift to yourself! I like that I can use this with makeup and there is no white casts or pilling. A lot of SPFs will pill When used/mixed with moisturizers and/or foundation/concealer. This one does not. It absorbs nicely into skin.

Review: Thrive SPF30 Protect & Restore Superplant Skin Care Set – Made in USA
I was especially excited about this duo as I am nuts about wearing sunscreen daily. I liked the set but was not blown away as I was expecting for this formulation to be phenomenal given the price tag.
Sunscreen:
– It is made up of non-nano zinc oxide which is safer to use on skin
– Because it is zinc oxide based, if you are a person of color, this will leave a white cast. A good rubbing will help spread it but you can still see a bit of lightness
– Mineral-based (not chemical based)
Serum:
– Love the serum – it’s meant to be used after a good skin cleansing and after being out in the sun
– very hydrating and soothing
I do love what the company stands for which is why my rating is higher than I would have given it had the company been meh.

This set is an amazing idea ( Set includes reparative serum and sun screen). I have not got tanned or burned this summer but after any vacation this duo is perfect to improve your skin.
The serum is hydrating, no smell, good for sensitive skin as well.
The sunscreen- although just 30 SPF is broad spectrum. Is very light and there is no white cast .

Thrive SPF30 Protect & Restore Superplant Skin Care Set – Gift Set is a fantastic set made by a eco conscious company. This product is plant based with all natural, eco friendly ingredients. The sunscreen smells like citrus. It applies smoothly. This sunscreen does leave a white film on my skin. I’m a caramel colored Hispanic. I don’t mind the film so much because I use this when I hang out by the pool. However, I wouldn’t wear this out and about. The sunscreen does pill a bit as well when touched. This did a great job at preventing sun burn. The restore serum makes my face look supple and dewy.

I love that these are plant-based, cruelty-free, and free from harmful ingredients. The sunscreen balm was nice for an outdoor outing I had. It kept my skin protected, and it felt very soft and hydrated. I used the skin recovery serum at night after my day outside, and it made my skin look and feel refreshed. This set is a little bit pricey, but I feel like the quality is worth it. It keeps my skin safe and looking healthy.
