This is my first time using this brand though I’ve heard the name around for a long time and so far I’m pretty impressed. I wear sunscreen daily especially on my face and find a good facial high SPF hard to find. The packaging is nice (it was shipped in way too much stuff for just this one little box, but that’s beside the point), ingredients and label are clear and easy to read. The tapered dispenser top is nice, and I was worried this would be too liquid but it came out like a thin cream. This wasn’t at all cakey or white on the face. I looked a little oily for a few minutes but that subsided. I finished up with a BB cream to cover and then proceeded with my makeup and it’s great! I went to a pilates class with this on and it held up well, and the sun coverage seems to be good for the small bits of sunshine time I’ve had while wearing it. The one drawback is the high price point on this. I would normally expect to pay $25-30 for something this size and quality, so this is a bit out of reach for me to buy regularly.

This sunscreen goes on like a moisturizer and leaves a lightly dewy finish to your skin which I like. I don’t wear foundation so this would be a good option for anyone like me. It is a bit costly though, so this won’t be my go-to purchase when it eventually runs out, but a nice splurge or a gift.

Annoying that this sunscreen drips everywhere, making it hard to do anything other than making sure it doesn’t spill on the ground or any other surfaces when applying. Has a screw cap instead of a flip cap, so can make it difficult to open and close when you have sunscreen on your hands. Still, it provides very good sun protection and a pleasant, balm-y scent.

Ordered this mainly for SPF 50+ and the Korean origin. There is a mild fragrance, but I can’t describe it. Absorbs into skin very quickly. Not greasy.

I typically try to avoid chemical sunscreens but I find that I prefer them to mineral ones under makeup. I don’t always wear makeup so I’ve been using this when I wear makeup and mineral when I don’t. This is AMAZING under makeup – it leaves a nice glowy finish that looks great under foundation. I do think it would be a bit much without makeup as my face just looks greasy before applying the foundation. I don’t need a primer or anything when I use this under makeup and makeup sets great above the glowy finish of this sunscreen. If you don’t wear makeup, this sunscreen probably isn’t for you. It is expensive but the bottle isn’t too small and it is easy to layer to ensure you’re getting proper protection.

I wanted to use this as my every day face sunscreen, but I don’t always wear makeup and this definitely has a texture that leaves a shine, and feels more like a makeup primer. I’m also unsure of how much it protects the skin from the sun, it spreads well but I don’t necessarily trust it. I don’t want to push it, but SPF 50+ seems like a tall order and big claim. Overall it was the shiny layer & slightly over-moist feeling that left me disliking use of this sunscreen, but on the two days I wore makeup it did feel very nice underneath those layers. I also tend to have oily days, and I didn’t like the clogged feeling of this on those days. Tried for a week and will not use again.

I want to love this but I’ll get to why I can’t give it the full stars. It’s a very fluid, elegant lotion textured sunscreen that blends into the skin well. I’m oily and at first it looked a bit too dewy and glowy for my liking but it settles down to a more natural finish. I still think it would be better for drier skin but for how dry this summer has been, my skin is enjoying it. I haven’t used it under makeup yet but alone it reapplies well without any pilling and doesn’t feel heavy. Depending on how much sun I’m getting and reapplications, the dewier it tends to get and the oilier/shinier I look which isn’t my favorite. If I’m spending most of the day inside and put this on once, it makes my skin look soft and healthy. I was hoping to use this on full sun, beach/pool days and this isn’t water resistant either. For the price and how often you need to be diligent with spf, I can’t see myself spending this much on one sunscreen. I’d recommend it for normal to dry skin, if it’s in your budget!
