The THANKYOU FARMER Sun Project Moisture Sun Cream is an excellent alternative to Japanese water essence sunscreens. If you know, you know – Japanese sunscreens are on a whole separate level from American sunscreens, and apparently Korean sunscreens are very similar to Japanese ones. The sunscreen goes on super smoothly, feels like you’re wearing nothing at all on your skin, and it plays well with makeup. It’s light, has a light, unobtrusive scent, and works perfectly at protecting my skin. It doesn’t drip or come off when sweating and is perfect for everyday use. It’s a high-quality sunscreen that I would buy again.

But this one has more benefits as it’s infused with vitamins. I like that it’s chemical based because I have tan skin and chemical based sunscreen does not give me white cast compared to mineral based ones.

There are two types of sunscreen out there – mineral and chemical – this one is a chemical sunscreen, but it’s a very gentle one and perfectly suited for use on the face. I actually prefer chemical sunscreens on my face because they don’t cause a white cast effect. This cream is super light and airy. It isn’t oily, either so it’s ideal for my skin type. It’s unscented. I normally HATE using sunscreen but this Korean product is different and well formulated. It contains panthenol – an ingredient that I LOVE and my skin LOVES. Hydrating, not greasy. Ideal for the face. Recommended….yes!

Happy to report that THANKYOU FARMER Sun Project Moisture Sun Cream truly does not leave a white cast or sheen on my skin. The cream is medium weight and spreads well. I’m also really pleased that it worked well under makeup without any slipping or pilling. I’ve yet to be disappointed by a product from THANKYOU FARMER, and this product continues that positive trend.

I’ve been using this sunscreen, and it’s become part of my daily routine. One thing I love is how lightweight it feels on the skin. It’s super moisturizing without feeling greasy, and it absorbs quickly, which is perfect for applying makeup over it. Plus, there’s no white cast, which is always a win (Especially if you have a darker skin tone).
This sunscreen is also fragrance-free, which is great if you prefer products without added scents. It’s broad-spectrum with SPF 40, so I feel confident using it every day for sun protection.
As for when to use it, I apply it in the morning as the last step of my skincare routine before heading out. The Thankyou Farmer sun moisturizing cream with SPF 40 goes on very smooth. It does feel a little heavy but not too heavy and this is what I would expect from the sun protectant skin cream. This sun cream does not contain zinc oxide, which is the one ingredient I am familiar with for sun screen protection. It does tell you on the box what products are the sun screen protectant. I does absorb in completely and my skin does still feel soft after applying it. It does not feel overly greasy or heavy which is nice.
I have not been able to try out the sun protection ability due to the weather here recently. However, it is a nice cream, feels nice on my face and makes my skin feel good. I had no reaction to it and it does not very really greasy or overly heavy. The tube is a nice size to fit in your purse or handbag so you have it with you all the time.
⭐️ 1 star – I don’t recommend it at all, poor quality, or it does not reflect the advertising.
