I thought I’d try Neutrogena, having very sensitive skin, and using Oil of Olay for years. Whenever I’ve tried something else, I usually end up with small bumps on my face sooner or later, telling me to go back to O of O. Also, as someone with fair skin and having had melanoma and now being even more diligent about protecting my skin from sun exposure, I always use sunscreen on my face if I’m going outside at all.
This Neutrogena Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30 sunscreen has been working for me, and after using it for a week, still no bumps or rash, and I appreciate that this does moisturize my face nicely, while not feeling greasy or oily at all. I’m able to integrate this with my regular beaty routine with no issues.
All in all I’m quite happy with this, and now that I know Neutrogena (this product at least) doesn’t react negatively with my skin, I’m open to trying other Neutrogena products as well.

To be honest, I usually avoid Neutrogena because most of their sunscreens irritate my skin. When I saw that this contained cica, which is a wonder ingredient as far as I’m concerned, I thought I would give it a try. I am happy to report that this sunscreen does live up to its claim. I didn’t experience any burning, redness, or stinging. This is the only sunscreen from this brand that I’ve been able to use, and it’s nice to know there’s something at the drugstore for me.
In terms of the finish, it has a nice soft luminosity. If you have dry skin like me, you won’t look greasy but you also won’t look too matte. The finish was the best part of this product. It gives a nice satin-y hydrated appearance to the skin.
In terms of how moisturizing the formula is, I wear this with a Korean moisturizing essence underneath to add a bit of extra moisture and it’s been working out well. I don’t feel dried out or itchy at the end of the day. At the same time, if I were having a particularly dry day I would probably reach for something more rich and occlusive than this product.

I do have extremely sensitive skin when it comes to sunscreen. I either get perioral dermatitis, rash, welts or acne cysts. This I used for a few days and didn’t cause those reactions but I did see some red dots starting by the third day. I’ll try it again after my skin clams down. As for the formula it was a little dry but without makeup it was great all day. With makeup it was a tad cakey but not too bad. Not as bad as mineral formulations. It’s not super moisturizing but I prefer that because otherwise I get oily. This did not feel greasy even after a full 9 hour work day. Just afraid to keep using it because of the redness that was starting to form

Originally intended to reorder Neutrogena’s Daily Facial Moisturizer for sensitive and reactive skin, but when I saw that Neutrogena also made a daily facial moisturizer with sunscreen, I thought I’d give it a try for the extra protection. No regrets. I confess that I like the thinner and cleaner feel of the original a little better. The ingredients of the sunscreen version are a little different, and it seems to feel slightly heavier and slicker, not unlike some other sunscreen lotions I’ve used. I’m elderly, though, and I’ve had to pay for some of my adolescent years basking in the sun. I’ll probably continue with this one for peace of mind.

This ultra gentle facial moisturizer with SPF 30 has been great for my face. It goes on my face without causing irritation, which is great because I’ve had bad luck with other moisturizers in the past. It’s great that the SPF and the moisturizers are combined because I don’t have to wait for two different products. And lastly, the scent is great as well. Most of the time, the other facial SPFs that I’ve used have a scent that is distracting at times. But this scent works well and I really like it.
All in all, this newest addition to Neutrogena’s lineup is great and I highly recommend it.

I use this every morning since I work from a computer all day. It makes my skin a little bit dry, but I go in with a separate moisturizer after if I feel like it’s too dry. This isn’t greasy like regular sunscreen, which is really nice.
