This is the fourth time I’ve purchased the 0.5oz container, and I will probably buy it again. I received a mini tube of Dr Lipp’s original nipple balm in a subscription box a couple of years ago and fell in love with it. I put a dot or two on my lips at night before bed, and it works as well or better than a certain famous K-beauty overnight lip mask I have (without the animal testing!!!). I wake up 7-8 hours later still feeling like I just put on lip balm. I’m an ICU nurse, and my hands get destroyed in the winter with non-stop sanitizing and hand washing. When the dry skin gets particularly bad, I put just enough Dr Lipp in between my fingers to rub together before bed, and I wake up the next day with noticeably smoother hands and minimal dry skin. Sure, I wish it could cost less per oz-there certainly are other brands that do- but I know exactly how well this stuff works.

Exactly as advertised. I just didn’t realize how small an ounce was. I got it for my wife to take on a cruise to the Bahamas. Specifically for dry lips, nips, chaffing, and sunburn. My wife has more melanin than me & never experienced a sun burn so I wanted a good product just in case. We were in the middle of winter & I had really bad chapped lips. I wanted to see if it really worked. Once it warmed up on my lips, I realized I used too much! The product size now made sense. Healed my lips overnight. The report from the Bahamas was the product was amazing! My wife was hesitant to take female body advice from a man. However, when the other women with other products, that didn’t work, asked what she was using and then raved about it. I actually got kudos! I even added the tinted ones for the trip. Same results, same kudos.

I love lanolin lip balms, and I’ve purchased Dr Lip’s nipple balm in a smaller size (you can find it on amazon) and loved it. I bought this 15ML sized nipple balm, but like MANY other commenters have pointed out, this is only half full. The bottle may be 15ML, but the actual content sure as hell isn’t! It’s very easy to check – put my phone’s flashlight under the bottle and sure enough, at least half of it is just fully empty. If you’re buying this product, you’re essentially purchasing the smaller 8ML product (at best) but paying twice the price for a bigger container. Get the smaller one instead! Or, buy a product from a brand that won’t lie to you… I hope to get a refund.
