I like the feel of these lip glosses. They are very moisturizing and “soft.” They have a hint of color but not enough to require a mirror like a more pigmented color would. I think of these like an elevated tinted lip balm. They last a little longer than those, feel more moisturizing, and have much more shine.

I was excited to try this plumping lip oil set, but there was no plumping whatsoever. The applicator wand on the lip oils was extremely difficult to get out of the tube, and when you do get it out, there was not much on it, so reapplying was a pain. They each have a different and very pretty barely there tint to them, which I like because I do not like a lot of color on my lips, but once the product is on it feels more like a sticky lip gloss rather than a moisturizing lip oil.

I love this 3pcs lip oil set! I got the Pink, Rosewood, and Cherry and they are amazing. The lip oils provide a pretty tint, glossy finish, and hydration to my lips. Although they don’t plump my lips as advertised, I don’t mind that. They give my lips a pretty color and keep them hydrated. They don’t have a bad smell or leave a bad taste on your lips which is a plus for me and they apply really well.

If you like just a hint of color like I do, and if you like a highly moisturizing lip texture, you will be pleased with these lip glosses. I wish the oil stayed on my lips a bit longer, but overall I really like them and are making them my first go-to.
The package is reasonably priced (nice for a change!), give you the option of little color to a hint of color to an actual nice shade of pink without overdoing it. And the applicator handles the thickness of the oil just right.
I’ve been looking recently for a new lip application, and after discarding a number of purchases, this one is here to stay. 🙂
Vintage Like Fine Wine –
I received the 3 piece set of lip oils in Cherry, Pink and Rosewood. They all come safety wrapped and individually boxed. I tried all three colors on my hand and there is very little , almost not there, color. Do not expect these lip oils to color your lips. You can see a tiny amount of color on your hand but you’ll see no color at all on the lips.
They do go on well and leave a great glossy shine. My lips are naturally dry and I use lip balm all the time. But I tried this lip oil without any lip balm to see how long they last. They last. They last a long time on my lips and keep them from feeling dry or chapped.
So, because of the glossy effect and that they are long lasting, they get a thumbs up. Just don’t expect color on your lips.

These lil oils are hydrating and long lasting. I am constantly using chapsticks, especially this time of year, and I do not have to apply these oils nearly as much as I do chapstick. The look is more of a subtle transparent color, which I like, and super glossy. The picture shown above is the darkest color of the three I received, and as you can see, it really isn’t that dark. If you like a lot of pigment, these may not be for you, but if you just enjoy a hint of color, you will like these oils. They also have a tingly menthal-like feeling, almost reminding me of the feeling of a peppermint chapstick. They don’t really have much taste or scent. My only con of these oils is that they are quite sticky, as are most lip oils I’ve tried, and sometimes a little tough to get the applicator out of the bottle.

I received these lip oils yesterday and tested all three colors – Pink, Rosewood, and Cherry. To give context, I have thick lips and it is the middle of winter in the Midwest, so I am applying lip balm all day and no matter the formula, I still get dry lips after a while. So I was ready to try Lip Oils. To test these, I applied them and checked to see if they would 1) last 2) keep lips moisturized 3) give enough color payout. It is a YES on all these three! They look gorgeous on, they are long-lasting, and they are so moisturizing with enough color to not need lipstick or lip gloss. Love these!
