This company makes a terrific line of products. I have used the Emugency Stick for many years and thought I would give this version a try. I love them both. The Emugency Stick has calendula for healing which this one doesn’t, but I find this version to be as moisturizing as the more expensive Emugency.

Found out about this on reddit and it has not been a disappointment. It’s light and not sticky. It doesn’t clump up and it DOESN’T DRY OUT YOUR LIPS! Hallelujah! It also doesn’t make you thirsty if you lick your lips… IYKYK. Will continue to purchase!

It has a pretty strong beeswax flavor and smell, which isn’t my favorite. That being said, I’m the one that choose the unscented version, so if you aren’t a big fan of that taste/smell, maybe get a flavored version. It feels very nice on the lips, and it stays on well. Very pleasant! Still, I choose not to use it on my lips muchbbecause I find it a bit overpowering and I can’t ignore the taste. That being said, it would be a great moisturizing stick for dry spots, or for a baby with a chapped nose or cheeks! I think it would be excellent for a healing tattoo as well. What I’m using it for personally though, is to hydrate my tattoos, the newest of which is 15 years old. It makes them look really nice and vibrant! I’m always forgetting to moisturize them to make them look their best, but now I keep this with my other lip balms, and it reminds me to take better care of my tats! It’s good stuff.

You know how you apply lip balm and 5, maybe 10 minutes later your lips are dry again? This isn’t that. I bought it after doing a search for whether emu oil is actually better somehow than other oils for moisturizing. The AI search came back with, yes, it’s different and better. So I bought this because my lips have been peeling even in summer here in Texas. I was scared to think what winter would be like. This stuff soothes and moisturizes my lips so well, they don’t crack, and almost never start to peel. when they do, I just apply this and it fixes the thing. Usually, applying in the morning and evening is all it takes! I’m so amazed. Thank you Emus and Emu Ranch.

I just got a vertical labret and what i didn’t know before piercing my lip is that your lip gets really really dry. The entire lower lip skin fell off twice in a week after I got it pierced. Did some research and someone said emu oil is a good thing. Bought it, and oh man!! It works soo well! The lip balm also smells like just animal product, reminds me a bit home (I’m mongolian). Soo much better than whatever lip balm being sold at drug store or even expensive ones from make up brands!
