I use these for my tallow chapstick. They’re the best! I love the larger size and don’t find it too big at all. This is a great quality product for a wonderful price. I’ve had no issues with leakage, I just make sure the tallow mixture is cool enough so it doesn’t melt anything bit still pourable. They’re pretty straight forward, twist up and down. I’ve purchased multiple times and will likely continue to go with this product in the future.

Filling will leak into wrong chamber and make a mess

These will work well for making my own solid lotion sticks.

These are great for any DIYer that likes to make their own lip balm, lip stick, blush sticks, etc. They rotate up and down well and they have a solid base when filling the tubes so they don’t leak out of the bottom. The only issue to be aware of is that these are larger than your typical lip balm tube (I showed a typical one next to one of these tubes in the photo for comparison.) To me these almost seem better for creamy blush sticks since they are a bit larger, but if you like bigger lip balm then these are perfect for that.

Wife says: I made some solid perfume as gifts. These tubes are great, they work very well and the lids fit fine. The plastic is not brittle (like the crappy non BPA plastic that breaks immediately upon use) I have had no issues with these tubes. I poured a very warm wax based perfume into the tubes. Very happy with the result. No issues with the threaded screw up and down action.

I am mostly using these for soaps, and a few balms. Soft shave soaps and harder bathing soaps. It lets me use any soap, as a shave stick. I use a shave brush when at home and I have time, but when applied directly its really not needed if I have some stubble, as it works the lather up pretty quick against my hands. It also works well for harder soaps, I just use the edge of the tube and scrape chinks into it and keep packing it down, although this way does tend to leave a couple small air pockets with really hard soaps. If I shave down flakes or grate a harder soap and mix with a few drops of very hot water, it hardens to a solid stick like it was poured that way. Fantastic for glycerine soaps. Harder bath soaps, I simply scrub a bit on my bath brush, or on my head (I shave it pretty close and just use regular body soap). I am always on the go between places, and no longer think about packing up a wet bar of soap or leaving it behind. Having my own towel and a stick of soap with my shave kit really simplifies things when staying somewhere as a guest. If the room is free, Im in and done with no wonders about the towel situation. I havent had one leak (and its been getting 110-118 degrees around here) even with softer salves and such. However, the lower temp ones do melt and sometimes wind up in the cap if they arent upright. It stays contained in the tube though and I dont expect any more than that. Every tube works and I find no defects. Some are hard to twist when filled with harder substances, so in colder weather i will be slow to crank them and not use them at a frozen temp, as you can feel it stress the thin threaded riser. I went with the clear, so most of them I can id without a label.
