I’m not a big fan of the smell at all, I can’t quite put my finger on what it is specifically, but kind of an almost rancid smell (like when oils turn). This alone may stop me from using it. It’s also greasy and sticky, which I don’t love, but understand that it is probably par for the course, as most topicals for stretch marks will have oils as their base to be effective. I do like that this product is made from safe, natural, and non-toxic ingredients, and specifically made for pregnant women, and is EWG verified. Also, this product has a lot of positive reviews for effectiveness so might just have to deal with the unpleasant smell and feel of it; still deciding.

I love this product, works well, feels great, but how can you possibly increase the price $10! That is not right. I will not be purchasing based on this alone. If the price comes down maybe. I’m actually disappointed I recommended this to my pregnant friends with this kind of price hike.

I love this product and wanted to make sure to review it. It goes on so nicely. I like that the oil is a bit solid at room temp but melts as soon as it touches your skin. It can get on your clothes if you don’t wait before wearing your outfit but it’s oil! The scent is light but nice and therapeutic (I often dislike product scents). I love that its EWG certified. I only wish I discovered this earlier in pregnancy. I will likely continue to use it after to keep my skin soft in winter. I will definitely be telling friends about this product.

I used this for 9 months of my pregnancy, and I got 0 stretch marks on my stomach, I also didnt have the biggest belly but either way the skin stretched a lot. I couldn’t recommend this product enough! Wish they made a bigger size though because you finish it quickly.

Edit at 39 weeks: my stretch marks are itchy, painful, and abundant. They’re not keeping me awake at night though, so maybe that’s a plus?
First time mom here, started using at 18 weeks. I’ve only had a handful of days where my belly itches uncomfortably. Have used every night and am now 37 weeks.
Pros:
-keeps your skin hydrated, even into the next morning/afternoon if you apply at night
-EWG verified
Cons:
-WILL stain your clothing after awhile
-will also make your clothing smell like old oil even after washing
I do have stretch marks despite being consistent with this stuff. I’m in my mid-20s, and my stomach has stretched a lot. I can’t really be sure if the oil prevented me from getting them sooner (I started noticing them at 35 weeks, and they have since multiplied in abundance). I *think* the oil may have helped because of how I only used this stuff on my stomach, and I got stretch marks everywhere else before I found a single tiny one on my belly a couple weeks ago. However, I now have a bunch of stretch marks below my bellybutton that are steadily growing in size.
The verdict?
-I think this stuff does help, and it’s something I can feel good about using on my baby belly. After how much my belly has grown, I think this is at least worth it for the itching!
