I like this belly cream.m, especially for the price. It gets good EWG ratings as well. Only downside is the smell. It’s NOT unscented and the scent isn’t great.

I buy a TON on Amazon, I have never left a review on anything but I feel so strongly about letting people know that this product smells absolutely terrible. I wish I could return it, was a waste of $23. I have tons of Pipette products, this one was a big miss and way too expensive.

I just wanted to leave this review about the scent. I haven’t used the product over a prolonged period of time yet so I can’t comment on the effectiveness, but some of the reviews about the smell did deter me a little at first but It’s really just quite herbal and smells more like tea. It’s quite a natural pleasant scent actually, so I’m not quite sure what some of these ladies are on about. A lot of high quality salon and spa products actually smell like this.

At 33 weeks pregnant with my first baby, in the middle of a dry miserable winter, basically my entire torso is suffering from … expansion discomfort. Pipette was recommended by my sister in law, and it is wonderful! I just got my first order – it feels good, its not heavy or goopy, it smells good, and it instantly calmed the stretch itches on my belly. It felt so wonderful that I basically coated my entire front torso with it. I have not been this comfortable in my skin in months. I love that there are no weird ingredients in anything Pipette, because I’m going to be using it day and night for my own skin, and I got a Pipette New Baby Kit as well. Happy!

Purchased with the belly oil as well. Eve though they’re smaller bottles they lasted my entire pregnancy. I love this brand of products for our kids and was excited to use it for myself!

The belly butter is very moisturizing and is helping keep my growing tummy soft and without stretch marks. I also use the oil. The only thing I dislike is the smell of the product.
Katie Adamson –
I would not recommend this product, it smells terrible and is extremely thick and oily.

I have used the entire Pipette line on myself this pregnancy and their baby products on my daughter. I love their products and how safe they are for your body and how truly well they work. My only gripe is the scent of the belly butter is pretty terrible and for $18 a bottle it doesn’t last very long at all. The belly oil smells better and goes much, much further! I’d say if you had to choose one, skip the belly butter and go with a different brand. Opt for the belly oil instead!

The scent is herby, but if you don’t like that idk if it would be an issue because it fades very quickly. The formula is super thin and fast absorbing. For me, I was looking for something with longer lasting hydration. It absorbed so quickly that I went through the tube in under 2 weeks. It just instantly disappears so it took a LOT to cover my body. BUT if you hate the feel of thick lotion and are looking for something fast absorbing this is it. I switched back to Palmers Cream though.

I got this lotion after looking at so many other natural options. Most of them had coconut oil or other ingredients that make them greasy, which I dont like because it leaves marks on my shirts. This is a great option as it absorbs pretty quickly and doesn’t leave stains on shirts. It is pretty thin, so you may have to reapply more frequently than other brands (directions reccomend morning and night and I’d say I agree or maybe 3x/day). I didn’t like the herbal scent at first but it’s grown on me enough to not bother me anymore.
