EDIT: I’m editing my review to give it five stars instead of four. As the weather has gotten cooler and we’re running the heat in the house, my face has felt so dry after washing it. This facial toner is like a big drink of water for my skin. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling dewy and moisturized. So I think the difference between now and two months ago is how much humidity was in the air then versus now. I plan to use these in the cooler months going forward, and will try a different type of this same brand when it’s warmer. And I still love the smell. So good!
I love the convenience of these pads, and that the pads are generously moistened. The product was a little slick going which combined with how moistened each pad is, I found it difficult to hold onto the pad when applying this to my skin. Then once applied, my face felt sticky until the product was fully absorbed/dried on my skin. I have a slight aversion to anything sticky, especially my face, and with the drying time (about five minutes), I’m not sure if I’ll use these long term. My skin does feel more hydrated than with other toners, and I like the fragrance, which is slight and has what I can only describe as a “classic” skincare aroma. I was also confused by the additional instructions on the box that state “when using as a mask,” as I don’t understand how this product (which I believe to be a toner) is also a mask (something you apply to your face for X amount of time then remove).

I used the tea tree pads in a less humid climate and they seem to work well. Due to the container being big for travel, I left them behind. I will try these tea tree pads when I’m back in this location. They seemed to work well, for the short time I used them.
I would have liked to know the ingredients.

I ordered the Gentle Exfoliating Facial Toner Pads, blue by Fovcos/ lakerain. The blue variety is the Madecassoside Blemish Pad for those struggling with uneven skin tone and post-acne marks. The product comes boxed and has a three year shelf life from the time of production. These were produced three months ago so fresh product was sent out. The jar itself has a pop top which is a nice touch for ease of use but, unfortunately, the jar is about 50% taller than it needs to be. Reaching to the bottom of the jar will be a struggle, probably for abut the last month of use. There is an enclosed set of plastic tweezers which I did not notice when I got my first pad. This is a nice inclusion but much like a previous reviewer they broke the first time I tried to use them.
The pads are very moist, this is great because sometimes in larger packs like this the top pads are a little drier just due to gravity and product settling. The pads are untextured. The toner itself has an astringent scent that is common in this type of product. Although I am aware that there is product on my face (feels a bit tight maybe), there is no stickiness. Generally I do not like to continue to feel the product after a few minutes but this isnt too bad so I believe I will be able to continue using the product. I will update this review if I notice any differences to skin clarity or dark spots.

I ordered the ‘toner pads’ because they are described as safe for sensitive skin. Well, I have sensitive skin and they haven’t irritated me yet (3 uses). I’m 63 and my skin is both dry and oil, I still can get the occasional pimple.
Whenever a product that I’m using on my skin or ingesting is imported, I always try to do a quick check on the company and the ingredients. In this case, the product is coming from a biotech company that has been around since 2002 and (quoted from their website) “has passed ISO9001 and ISO14001 quality and environmental management system certification, FDA standard GMPC and EC standard GMPC certification has been in the audit.”. So far, so good.
For the ingredients, I’ve posted a pic of the side of the box. I checked them out; everything seems safe. Quite a few herbal extracts and oils. The Euglena Gracilis seems to be a beneficial, naturally fermented product/protein that may be the exfoliating source.
Regarding the pads: super moist and slick. In addition to using them after cleansing my face, I also used them to wipe my eyebrows clean of brow mascara and waterproof brow tattoo. They did an excellent job at removal. They left my face feeling soft, no stinging or burning.
Would I buy these again? Yes, I trust the brand. The price may be a little high considering they are an unknown name, but the ingredient list is straightforward and I like the tweezers in the cap, to be honest.

These were not horrible and did not seem to irritate my skin, however I did not enjoy using them very much. The tacky texture sort of turns me off. I wasn’t sure about the exfoliating strength but it felt subtle. I think the natural ingredients were a plus but the synthetic ones were a minus. For me personally, the texture was enough to make me not want to use it daily.

I normally use acne reducing cleansing pads for my face, but decided to give these a try to see if they helped my sensitive skin. Overall, these tea tree pads work okay, but the smell is VERY strong. The container was very confusing to open; there is a strange plastic disc inside of the lid after you remove the throw away safety seal, and I could not figure out what the plastic disc was for because it did not fit properly anywhere back inside the container, so I tossed it out. The lid has a little tiny pair of tongs, to help take the pads out of the container, but they do not work well or fit into the lid very snuggly. It’s a cool concept, but not executed the best. The pads themselves are SUPER thin, so the tongs really are almost necessary to pull them apart. They are absolutely soaked in formula/cleanser, so you will need to wash your hands after touching them. They do not work well to remove makeup, but they are nice to use directly after washing your face to help restore some moisture back to your skin. I don’t mind these pads, but the smell and slimy feeling is a big turn off for me.
