Physicians Formula Rose All Day Tri-phase Beauty Elixir
This is a very interesting oil. It contains 3 main ingredients that need to be mixed before applying. It has a lovely rose scent and feels super nice. It is a very hydrating oil mixture and sinks in quickly to your skin and leaves it glowing. It has some reflective properties because of the tin oxide and titanium dioxide. I really like this serum and it feels wonderful.
This comes in a gorgeous glass bottle and contains 30ml. There is a built-in dropper and Id idn’t see an expiration date but it should be used within 12 months of opening. The bottle is safety sealed.

I began using this serum about 2 weeks ago and have been approached a few times at the gym and my place of work with compliments and questions about my beauty story. I use this twice a day UNLESS I plan on being in the sun. It is a little oily and I worry that being in the sun with this on my face might cause some damage so I avoid doing that. I put a few drops on my face, work it in, wait for it to soak in (I’ve had no issues with it sitting ON my skin as some others have commented), and follow it with my usual SPF lotion.
SCENT: I don’t mind the scent. It’s not roses, that’s for sure but it does have a rosy smell, if that makes scents (see what I did there? lol).
*I will add that I exfoliate 2 times a week and microneedle at home occasionally. This may be why the serum has no issue soaking into my skin.*

I am a big fan of Physicians Formula products and this one is as close to 5 stars as it could get. I cannot get past the smell! I find it hard to describe the smell but here is my try. It is not a rose smell per se; it is not a chemical smell per se. It is earthy with a back note of artificial rose sometimes. So hard to describe but it is hard to smell it all day on my face. Maybe it is the rosehip oil that is turning me off. No matte what it is, I wish I could not smell it so deeply because I like the product.
As to the products effectiveness, it is what it says it is. It does prime the skin and even gives me a glow before makeup. With that, I will continue to use the Rose All Day but not sure that I would purchase again unless a miracle happened, and I could adjust to the smell.
For those that are not so nose sensitive, this will work wonders for your face and skin.

So this specific Physicians formula product is new to me but i love it!! I add a drop in my palm along with the moisturizer.. my face stays smooth… All Day!!
I have no issues with the scent… i never noticed one.. maybe because i mix it with the lotion.

I originally found the Elixir at Marshalls. Loved it so much just had to have again. When I did search for rose all day, I found the serum. Assumed it was the same in diff packaging, but no. Its ok, the serum is also good, but I really liked how smooth the elixir makes my skin feel before applying makeup. Looked at these two items again and found the magic words.. “tri-phase beauty elixir”
