I’m really fair skinned so I’m always on the lookout for a good spf sunscreen for my make up routine. Having one mixed with a slight tint is even better to combat the paleness! This works really well as a base for under make up, and since it’s mineral based I didn’t have any chemical reactions or break outs. It’s slightly darker than preferred for very fair skinned, so use it sparingly and blend well. Otherwise it’s a great product.

This SPF started promising as it has a thin texture. But I found that it has a tint that did not look great on my tanned skin. It gave my skin a white cast and the SPF also immediately dried my skin and made it look worse. If you have oily skin, acne prone skin or a paler skin tone this SPF might work for you. Otherwise you will have to make sure you really apply a good moisturizer before applying this SPF and also apply some sort of blush or bronzer. It was too much work for me to make this SPF look natural and keep my skin moisturized. I will not continue using it.

Although the THANKYOU FARMER Tinted Mineral Sunscreen only came in a fair shade, I am able to use it with my other beauty products. I have light to medium skin tone and the sunscreen works well as a primer for my foundation. I do feel that I have to still apply a moisturizer on first, since the sunscreen was a little drying to my skin. However, as far as sun protection goes, it really works well. It looks natural on my skin and provides SPF40 protection. I also apply it to the back of my hands where I am starting to get a lot of dark spots, and the tint does a great job of camouflaging them as it protects from further skin damage. I detected no scent or white residue.

The Thank You Farmer Rice Tinted Mineral Sunscreen works well on my slightly dry light-medium colored skin. It goes on smoothly when used without a moisturizer, but applying a moisturizer first makes it a little easier to blend. While it doesn’t cover up all of my freckles or age spots, it does a good job of minimizing redness and improving the look of my facial skin. The finish is quite matte, the product has no odor, and it drys quickly without any stickiness.
The active sunscreen ingredient in this Korean skincare product is 22.24% zinc oxide. I don’t mind chemical sunscreens, but this mineral facial sunscreen is a great product. I will be using it on days that I don’t need/want to wear full makeup and may wear it as a primer with makeup on other days.

I love sunscreen, which is a strange thing to say, except for the fact that this is a review for sunscreen. So no, I don’t generally run around the neighborhood screaming about my undying love for sunscreen, but I think that I do know well enough which ones I like and which ones I don’t. I am surprised at how much I like this THANKYOU FARMER Sun Project Rice Tinted Mineral Sunscreen SPF40. I wore it for a very long time, and had it stay on looking fresh for hours. It also felt good, light and moisturizing.
The tint is light, and at first I was concerned that it would be too dark on me, but the color is sheer enough that I need not have worried. My own skin shines through, and the feel of this sunscreen is very much like that of a skin veil. The coverage is great for a sunscreen, and evens out my complexion, but doesn’t look like heavy foundation.
I like this tinted sunscreen that feels like a foundation. It evens my skin and feels moisturizing. Highly recommended.

This comes out looking like a foundation makeup, but it’s primarily a sunscreen. It contains 22% zinc oxide, and says that it’s “foundation-free”, but it certainly looks like makeup when my wife puts it on.
There is a definite color to it, so it may be too light or too dark for your skin. My wife’s skin is tanned, and it really shows up if not fully rubbed in. So this is not a one-size-fits-all kind of product.
She likes it, but I think it could be less expensive. At more than fifteen bucks an ounce, it seems a little pricey for sunscreen or foundation makeup.
