Interesting scrub, not as gritty and tingly as some. This seems to be made to scrub and soothe. Has walnut shell powder and vesca seed, silica, hyaluronate. Coconut and mineral oils, aloe, extracts and more. Also has alcohol, glycerides, and a polysaccharide. Goes on smoothly. Has a feeling of very light grit, with a few pieces of larger grit every now and then. Directions say to spread it evenly, then massage, in circular motions for 30 seconds to a minute. Rinse off. It’s odd to me that the directions say that dry skin use once per week, but oily skin use 2-3 per week. I’ve got oily skin, so I’ve used it a couple times this past week to try it out. So far, I have not broken out. It does leave a smooth feeling (the oils and aloe). I end up taking it off with warm water and a wash cloth. Not a scrub that washes off completely, so I don’t recommend this for use in the shower. The smell is pleasant, light and not cloying. And I like that there are not a lot of chemical additives.

Knowing that turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties and has been known to help brighten skin, I’ve been wanting to try something like this. There’s not really much of a scent to the cream. It’s very thick and pasty, similar to a mask, although, I probably wouldn’t leave it on your skin for too long or you might get some staining from the yellow color. I already have olive skin, and I could imagine someone with lighter skin looking a bit yellow afterwards. The walnut shell powder works great as an exfoliating agent. It scrubbed well without irritating my skin. It was gritty, similar to sand, but not too much for delicate areas. Overall, my skin was smooth and bright afterwards, and I had very few extractions to do because my pores were clear. It did a great job of exfoliating my skin, and I would order it again.

I selected this scrub to see if it would work better than my homemade scrub. My homemade scrub is raw honey and brown sugar, which is not the easiest to mix up and is a tad sticky.
This turmeric scrub leaves my face feeling just as smooth as my honey and brown sugar mix. I really like how easy the turmeric scrub spreads. Also, how little I can use and get the same soft face as my homemade scrub. I really like the brightness of my skin after using this scrub as well.
I have used this scrub on my face three times since I received it. The instructions recommend 1-3 times per week, depending on skin type. I have had no adverse reactions.
I look forward to seeing if this scrub will help even out skin tone too. I really do like the ease of using this product versus my homemade scrub. Oh it came with a little scooper so you don’t have to stick your fingers in to get the wash out of the container.

This turmeric exfoliating scrub helps clean out my pores and deep clean my face every morning, leaving my skin smooth and clear to absorb serums and moisturizers. The scrub removes dead skin, helps brighten up dark spots and has evened out my skin tone. It has a mild citrus smell that I find very appealing. The scrub is thick, creamy and feels luxurious on my skin when I use it. A little bit goes a long way so this exfoliant is going to last a long time!
The scrub has a fine grit and has not too rough for my face. It is the perfect texture to rub off all the dead spots and has helped remove some dark spots and rough areas on my neck in particular. I love that this scrub is so affordable and is great quality – I will definitely be back for more!

Since this is marketed as a scrub, I would expect it to have a genuine scrub effect and “properties.” There are not nearly enough beads/scrubbies in it to even consider calling it a scrub. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice product, but it’s not at all what I would call an exfoliating scrub. It has more of a cream cleanser type of vibe going on, with a few sporadic scrubbing beads here and there.
