It’s a deep cleanser and strips all oils from the face. Need to find more! Love it! Cannot find it on Amazon.
Toes and Paws –
This is a nice, creamy cleanser that effectively removes makeup and oils without making your face completely dry. It is creamy, but there is little lather since it is free of the chemicals that would create lather. You don’t need it to lather to effectively clean.
After using for a few days, I am noticing my pores are cleaner and my skin is more balanced after washing. I have sensitive skin that is also a kind of combination – I have patches of dry skin, spots that are oily, and then some normal. The biggest issue is that it is so sensitive and this doesn’t bother my skin at all. The scent is mild. It cleans well without being abrasive or drying. Overall, it’s a good cleanser that could be used in the morning or night or both.
Bon’onthego –
This daily clarifying cleanser can be used daily, and the instructions on the back say up to 3 times. However if it’s you’re first time using to work up to the three times because it can cause peeling due to the salicylic acid. Personally I only started with using it once a day so that I’d be able to notice quickly if any peeling or dryness was occurring, as I didn’t want that to happen and my skin can be sensitive to products with salicylic acid.
I didn’t notice any peeling using it once a day so I decided to stick with that.
The formula itself feels pretty light and there wasn’t any overpowering fragrance.
Didn’t need to use too much product in order to cleanse my entire face. I followed up with a moisturizer.
I’ve heard of this brand before (my sister’s tried their products) but this was my first time using it. Overall was a good lightweight option if you’re looking for a daily cleanser that has some salicylic acid in it to help prevent/treat acne.
Fifties Era –
I don’t suffer from acne but still deal with occasional hormonal breakouts. Facial cleansers that contain salicylic acid are my best friend during those occasions as they really work at clearing up those pesky pimples!!!
The Yes to Tomatoes cleanser is a good, basic cleanser. The 4 oz tube has an easy to open cap and dispenses from the bottom. (definitely preferred as this helps dispense the product quicker, especially when the tube is almost empty)
I don’t know why I was expecting a tomato or herbal scent as the product is clearly labeled as “fragrance free.” There is no detectable scent whatsoever. I typically prefer some kind of scent but for a mostly natural product, it makes sense.
The cleanser doesn’t lather so if you are used to a foaming cleanser with lots of lather, this will definitely be quite a change from that. I recommend putting it on your skin when dry, then using wet hands to massage it onto your skin. I use a textured wash cloth to wipe it off. My skin is left feeling clean without feeling overly tight or stripped. I would still recommend using a moisturizer afterwards as it isn’t necessarily the most moisturizing of cleansers!
It does seem to help somewhat with clearing up blemishes but maybe not as well as some other acne specific products that I have tried. To be fair, those products are probably made with a lot of chemicals while the Yes to Tomatoes cleanser is made with over 95% natural ingredients!

This is the first cleanser I’ve ever used that is truly unscented. Zero, zip, no perfume and no scent – which is GREAT for anyone with sensitive skin or a sensitivity to perfume! This is a great cleanser for those with oily skin prone to acne. The skin feels drier after use and it seems to help with the blemishes on the forehead. It is well concentrated because I did not feel the need to use more than about a dime-size on my entire face. I put some on my fingers, give it a quick trickle of water from the faucet and start spreading on my face. It is not a sudsy cleanser but it reacts well with a little water and you can tell your face is getting good coverage. My face felt very clean afterwards.

Doesn’t lather and wouldn’t recommend for oil skin. The oils in my skin went into overdrive. Also a bunch of bumps showed up on my forehead. Tried this due to them constantly changing and now discontinuing the charcoal face scrub which is so amazing for my type of skin.

This is a good product but gave it 4 stars since I think the formula has changed a little. It does give your skin a clean feel and priced is decent.

This cleanser works best when i applied it onto dry skin, and then rubbed it in with wet fingers or a wet cloth. It does a great job of cleansing my skin and removing oil. I’ve never used this brand before but i do really like it. My skin is really oily, and this does a great job of balancing it out and leaving it feeling and looking clean and oil free.
