I appreciate that the box came completely sealed in plastic. It makes me feel a little safer about what’s inside.
The first thing I noticed when I opened the bottle is that this oil has really no scent whatsoever. I myself wouldn’t have minded if it did have just a little, but I know a lot of people who are very sensitive to perfumes and this could be really good for them.
Along those lines, I think a lot of people could appreciate that they have kept the ingredient list very, very simple– in fact it only contains four ingredients, if what is on the box is to be believed: wild rose hip oil, turmeric root oil, and vitamins C and E. Considering the incredibly long list of ingredients I have found on so many skin care products recently, usually with loads of long unpronounceable chemical names, I really find that quite refreshing.
I wouldn’t exactly say that a little goes a long way, because it absorbs so quickly and so completely into the skin that I felt that perhaps I hadn’t put on enough and kept wanting to add a little more. Certainly it does not leave you feeling greasy. After using it for a couple of days, I do see a little improvement on fine lines around the eyes, although if I’m honest, other skin care oils and serums have left my skin feeling a little bit more hydrated and soft, which is not to say that this oil doesn’t also, just maybe not quite as much as some others do. I know that vitamin C is supposed to brighten, but I suspect that that would take a few weeks of use before you would see that kind of change. But since rosehip oil itself is naturally very high in vitamin C, and then they’ve added more C to that, I think there’s a very good chance you could see the benefits of vitamin C from this oil over time.
I’m knocking off one star because there is nothing anywhere on the packaging that indicates any kind of quality control, nothing about third-party testing, not even about having been produced in a GMP facility. It’s hard for me to feel completely secure about what is or is not inside the bottle without any of that.
Even so, I would say that this is worth a try, especially if you’re looking for something with a high vitamin C content, or a skin care product with no perfumes.

I love rosehip oil and this comes with turmeric and vit.c. Beautiful blend to help my skin. Nice bottle with easy access to oil. It moisturizies my skin really good. Not too oily, I can still wear my makeup. I wear at night too to moisten my face.
