    I am a bit disappointed with this product. I was expecting something with a thicker consistency, this is more like a water based serum and it just doesn’t do what it says. The fact that it is so runny makes it hard to not end up with way too much on, as well as it does not feel like most eye creams do, when you KNOW something is happening. I’m just really let down with this one and will not be purchasing again. The smell if a bit too much as well, I am sure some people want a strong smell in their eye cream but here I just feel like they made it strong scented to distract me from the fact that it isn’t what it claims to be. I gave two stars because I like the packaging. It leaves my the skin around my eyes almost oily, I’m not a fan.

    I recently started using retinol serums on my sun damaged décolletage. When my first bottle was finished, I came online to buy another and learned about the plant based version of retinol, Bakuchiol, and decided to give that a try.

    For me, this serum is too thick for my face, but since I am using it on my décolletage, that is fine with me (I have oil skin and prefer lighter skincare options). The scent is a bit medicinal, but fades away immediately.

    The serum takes a few minutes to absorb, and I always follow with an SPF moisturizer. The combination of retinol/bakuchiol is definitely making a difference in my décolletage. I will *defintely* encourage my daughters to follow a good skincare routine to avoid the sundance and wrinkles I now I have in my 40s!

    Overall, this is a good serum, but for those with oilier skin, you may want to consider only using this on your neck. (skincare products are very personal, keep that in mind)

    I have really been enjoying this bakuchiol serum by TIA’M. I use it in the morning with a few other serums, and it layers really well with other products. This milky looking serum is a bit thicker viscosity than most, but it feels quite nice and hydrating, and sinks easily into my skin with no messy residue. I use adapalene gel in the evening (it’s cheaper than tretinoin to purchase, though not as strong, it is still great for cell turnover). So I enjoy using other actives in my morning skincare routine. This bakuchiol serum is pretty gentle, I have no skin reactivity to it. So I’m not sure how intense it is, or how much cell turnover occurs. But it works well for me, in my skincare routine. For reference, I am 49 and have normal skin type needs.

    This serum is very soothing and moisturizing, spreads easily and absorbs readily providing lasting moisture for my dry skin, no excessive tackiness either. Nonirritating, with a pleasant light scent. The price is very reasonable with quality ingredients.

    This serum is thicker than other serum I normally used. A little bit really goes a long way. I usually warm up the serum on my palm before applying it to the face. The first couple times, I made a mistake of applying too much at once and it leaves a heavy feeling on my face. Also, I have sensitive skin and I can’t not use it straight out of the bottle. At first I would mix it with a little bit of lotion and apply it at night. As my skin build up a tolerance over a week, then I’m able to apply the serum on its own. I don’t really notice a different in the depth or visibility of my wrinkle. I think this product is good for hydration and not for wrinkle reducing purposes.
    I’m not a fan of citrusy scent because it can trigger my migraine. The scent of this serum is light e Pugh and usually disappear 20s after I apply so it doesn’t bother me
