I have roasacea and extremely dry skin now that I am older and hoped manuka would help with that.
Sadly this was not worth the potential benefits although i really hoped this would work for me.
PROS: 1) creamy consistency is very nice, clean white color. 2) The oil sinks into skin but also remains lightly on the surface for a time to feel moisturized but not sticky. 3) unscented. i hate flowery perfumes and strong tea tree/rosemary almost menthol type smells
CONS: 1) unscented but the smell is still overpowering for an hour or so. the natural herbal smell is so powerful it is still on the level of putting on tiger balm/vicks and being in your own fumigation cloud. major dread factor. 2) My face tingles for 10 minutes or so, initially almost to the burn level. I have read manuka does this to some but whether that or my skin ph is off due to dryness or an actual low level allergic reaction i don’t know.

Absorbs nicely into my skin. Although “unscented” it does have a strong tea tree oil like scent. Doesn’t linger, but it’s strong when first applied. It’s a very light oil, so a few drops go along way. I love the blend of beneficial for skin health oils! Very moisturizing & nourishing effect.

The botanical aroma is wonderful! Feels very smooth and a little goes a long way. I use it for gua sha once a day and don’t need to do anything else for hydrated, glowing skin all day. I especially love that it’s just oils, no weird chemicals. Can’t recommend enough.

I received a boxed, 1 fluid ounce glass bottle of Melora Manuka Face Oil. The label provides product information, directions, ingredient list and company details. It states this is a Product of USA.
I find it interesting that this product is called Manuka Face Oil, when Manuka is actually the sixth oil in the ingredient list, following Jojoba seed oil, Hemp seed oil, Rosehip fruit oil, Avacado oil and Black cumin seed oil. After Manuka oil, (which as mentioned is the sixth ingredient) is Grapefruit peel oil, Neroli oil, Lavender oil, Tea tree oil, Oregano oil, Juniper fruit oil and lastly, Geranium oil. I actually really like this combination of oils, I just wonder why the company named it Manuka oil, which suggests the product is a pure oil vs a combination of 13 different oils.
The oil is dispensed via dropper. It is yellow in color with a botanical type scent. The dropper has an angled tip, so be careful when removing it from the bottle, because it can easily catch on the bottle neck.
I have mature, somewhat sensitive, combination skin, with a pale Celtic complexion. This oil applied very easily and absorbed well, considering it is completely an oil product, without any other diluting ingredients. It left my skin with a subtle glow.
I regularly use oils on my face and body and do really like this combination facial oil, however I wish the product had consumer safety seals of some kind and also feel that the product would be better called a combination moisturizing oil, nourishing oil, or antioxidant facial oil, etc. vs Manuka Oil, when that is actually a bit misleading.

I LOVE this Melora Manuka face oil so much! It’s incredibly nourishing, moistening and it makes my skin look and feel amazing. I was recently out of the country for an extended period of time and I would covet every last drop of my Melora oil until someone could bring me a replacement. I can absolutely tell the difference between this and other (more expensive) face oils. I think there are two reasons for that, first, the ingredient list is incredible. There are no fillers – it’s just 100% good for your skin. Second, the manuka oil itself is a bit of real magic plant medicine. I had a weird flaky aging patch of skin on my face over a year ago which the Dermatologist wanted to cut out. I used this oil and some fresh aloe (growing in my yard) and it went away after about 2 weeks. No scalpels needed and no sign of it’s return. I’ll also rub a drop on little cuts and and wounds and they heal so quickly!
As a side note, I’m a Dr of Acupuncture and Chinese medicine and I offer facial rejuvenation/microneedling treatments. I’ve started adding this oil after treatments and it’s been amazing, as expected, for quick healing and glowing skin. People love it. I can’t recommend it more!
