I tried a few of the clays(small multiple pack) this brand provides. I liked this one, however feel uncomfortable that they do not list where it comes from on the package nor on the website. It says organic then give the organic source, vs organically mad in a laboratory. On of there other orangeish ones with an R name, had what appeared to be traces of lead in it. No thank you. If they can disclose their source of all they provide, and be sure it’s lead free, then I’ll try it again.

This dead sea clay seems nice, I don’t know what the purity level of it is as it says cosmetic grade only, but I wanted to try some various health things out with it. It makes my skin soft, it feels nourished. I brush my teeth with dead sea mud, and they get very clean. I recommend using it for those two things, but as far as eating it I am not sure.
I have taken it a couple times, just to see, and I had more energy, but also some anxiety. I may send off to have this analyzed, as it is a very mineral rich, but I want to be sure of the purity. But as far as cosmetic grade goes, it is nice, useful, slimy and mineral rich, useful for baths and such. Thanks for making it available, and I will probably get more.

I like to make my own skincare at home and do little pamper sessions. This is my go to ingredient for nearly everything i make when it comes to a mask, or a bath soak. I’ve tried the premade face masks in the store, and my skin is not liking them at all. I always end up with worse looking skin after about a day. I personally like to use this either as is, and just mix it with a bit of warm water until its a mud like consistency, or other times I’ll go all out and add rose petal powder, jojoba oil, and or essential oils. I always let this mask sit for a minimum of 25-30mins to allow my skin to deeply absorb the minerals in the clay. When I need a little extra remineralizing, I add a pinch of pink Himalayan salt. And as with any good beauty routine, I follow up with a rich facial moisturizer, which in my case is sweet almond oil, and literally my face GLOWS after 1 use! BUY THIS because its soooo worth it! The pictures are during, and the results after, BEFORE moisturizer. On this day, the mask was just water, and clay.

This came in a clear 1lb zipper sealed bag, with a scoop, all well sealed in another bigger bag.
The zipper bag has a safety seal you have to tear off at the top. Its easy to open. Mix with one part clay powder, one part water and a couple drops essential oil. Apply to skin and let dry, then wipe off with a towel.
This goes on great but when it dries, it flakes. All. Over. It comes off easily with a wet towel, but be prepared to use a darker colored towel because the one I used used to be white and isn’t anymore.
I used this on half of my face and feel that the side that got the clay treatment is slightly smother than the other.
