For transparency, I’ve only used this product once when review was written.
I was looking for something that I could use for my entire body. I used Pura D’or Sweet Almond Oil before this and it worked fine, but it left my skin feeling oily. Maybe I was using too much? Anyway, as stated above I’ve only used this product once, and I already love it. It glides on your skin silky smooth.
It’s definitely different in the sense that it feels kind of tacky after drying down, but not sticky. I’ve noticed that it doesn’t absorb into my clothing like the almond oil did. There is zero fragrance. It smells like nothing.
I highly suggest that you use this right after your shower or bath when your skin in still dripping with water. It helps dilute the glycerin. Also, glycerin will lock that moisture in your skin. Let your body air dry.
If you live in a dryer climate I’d forgo purchasing this. Glycerin pulls moisture from the air if none is present on the body when applying. If your climate is dry it will pull the moisture from the deeper layers of your skin essentially drying you out more. Also, if using on your face it’s recommended that you dilute it using rose water.

I use this product to moisturize my face and body. I like that I can keep my skin smooth without all the additional chemicals that are in packaged moisturizers.

I use this as a moisturizer for my skin, dry hair and tangles, and to make soap. It is thinner than oil.

I’ve been using this glycerine for my dry skin, and the results have been fantastic! It has transformed my skin, making it feel incredibly smooth and hydrated. Despite being a bit sticky to apply, the benefits far outweigh this minor inconvenience. My skin feels soft and supple throughout the day, and I love the natural glow it imparts. Highly recommend glycerine for anyone dealing with dry skin issues!

The product is working as expected. When I received the item, some of the product was clearly on the outside of the bottle, forcing me to clean the bottle before use.

IT IS BETTER THAN REGULAR VEGETABLE GLYCERIN, WHICH TYPICALLY IS SOY DERIVED.
Glycerin has multiple uses. I chose to ingest it with tea.
This tastes a little better than the soy based glycerin. I thought since it is not soy, it shouldn’t interfere with thyroid function.
BUT I HAVE NOTICED THAT WHEN I USE THIS IN MY TEA, IT CAUSES MY BODY TEMPERATURE TO BE LOWER FOR HOURS. SAME EFFECT WHEN I USE IT BY ITSELF.
THAT INDICATES POSSIBLE INTERFERENCE WITH THYROID FUNCTION.
So I just tossed it out. Can’t use it. For those who can it is a little better than the soy based glycerin.

Use it diluted with distilled water as a skin freshener, my aging skin loves it

Works great to kill the yeast on my scalp. I used to use nizoral, but that would only keep that weird smell away for a day and a half. I mix this glycerin with some peppermint essential oil and water to apply it. The peppermint is for a sign that I’ve applied it to the entire surface area. The water is to make it easier to apply. I can go four or five days without applying this mixture and the scent won’t come back. I haven’t tried longer than this. It kind of helps with dandruff, but not entirely. It might be because I have scalp psoriasis, not yeast-induced dandruff
It also kills the seborrheic dermatitis on my upper lip (sad that I’ve contracted it recently), but I apply plain glycerin multiple times per day, because I really don’t want it to come back. It also kills any weird smells coming from my belly button. I regularly wash all of these areas with doctor bronners, too. This is for sure a permanent part of my routine
