I have never used one of these tools (I should say, either of these tools, as this is a hybrid combo facial brush and gua sha tool) so I have nothing to compare them to. I was told by an “influencer” online that a gua sha tool is “supposed” to be either steel or stone – this one is obviously neither, but it seems to perform in a similar manner, and honestly I don’t think my face can really detect the difference.
I have not employed the scrubber yet, and I’ll get around to that eventually.
The tool is high quality of molded plastic and seems to perform well. It is more than up to the task.

I’ve used a gua sha and I’ve used mini rubber-bristled brushes before. But this piqued my interest since it was a combination of both items.
This tool is cute and almost reminds me of a clear jellyfish. The pink rubber brush comes out of the clear acrylic gua sha piece for easy cleaning. This evenly distributes your cleanser of choice, and helps on the broader surfaces of the face. I still had to cleanse the areas around my eyes and nose with my hands because the tool is too blunt to reach there.
This was a little bit slippery, but it’s a nice way to get a good cleanse in! For the price, I think it’s worth it to try it out.
