I switched to a cleansing balm. I’m 69 with dry “red hair” skin- plenty of sun damage. I like that it dissolves even eye makeup although I usually use a eye make up remover on a pad just to be sure it’s all off. I write off the a warm washcloth. It leaves my skin soft and smooth. I find it does clog the pores of my forehead and once a week or so, I do a scrub there. I’m pleased with it for the reasonable price.

I have a lot of bliss’ products and I love them. this one just isn’t for me. it doesn’t melt as easily as the Juno one does I bought both to test them out. I really didn’t enjoy the bliss one at all. I mean it gets the job done for cheaper than the Juno but for someone with super oily/ dry skin i found the after effect being less than steller when compared with Juno

This is absolutely my go to makeup remover and I have bought this at least 6 or 7 times at this point. It is very thick, but don’t let that be off putting because it thins when you rub your hands together. It has removed waterproof mascara, multiple layers of makeup that have been sealed with layers of heavy duty setting spray, all while keeping my skin moist and supple. Being a woman “of a certain age”, I find this is gentle and doesn’t make my skin break out, and it helps keep everything hydrated. I highly recommend this product for all ages.

I buy this for other people, that’s how much I believe in it! It is gentle on my lower eye lids and I swear it has helped with fine lines because it is not harsh and has an oil base to it. I truly am so thankful I found this! I use it every night to clean make up from my eyes.

This gets the makeup off better than anything I’ve ever used. I apply to my face and then wipe my makeup off with a warm washcloth. When I use my toner after cleansing, my cotton pad is totally clean; this stuff gets every last bit of makeup off my face. I haven’t gotten a single pimple since I started using this (which I thought would never happen)!!

I love cleansing balms as I am 53 and have dry skin and some sun damage. I prefer gentler stuff on my skin and I cannot tolerate most mascara.
Bliss makes this balm and it works great to loosen up the oils and sebum gently (doesn’t catch my milia and I have a few).
I get it on my palms and warm a bit of it up, rub gently into my face, let it sit long enough to brush my teeth, run warm water, rub a bit of warm water into the balm to loosen it, and then rinse. I also use a warm washcloth to massage and work it off gently. If I need a secondary double cleanse, I use the bliss makeup melt (a gentle gel no soap cleanse), just on and off really quickly. I do not know how this would work for folks with pimples, but it is gentle for rosacea.
I usually do not need a moisturizer after this, but if I am red, I pick a cica healing lotion.
I think this is a good amount for the cost, I have tried making my own emulsifying balm. and mine is more expensive to make and greasier. This is better.
