so ive probably tried a few dozen cleansers along my skincare journey, and this one is easily the softest feeling ive tried. not really sure how to describe it, both the general feeling as you massage it around your face and the way that it foams is just so lightly and airy, super soft feeling. you dont need a lot, just a pea sized amount was enough to fully cover my face and foam up nicely. goes on easy and washes off just as easy.
this does not seem to hydrate or anything like that, it feels like it completely wipes the slate for whatever was on your skin and leaves it as a completely blank canvas, essentially. for me, it seems to leave my skin a bit dry, but this isnt an issue, since i follow it up with toner, esssence, then a serum. this allows my toner to fully soak into my skin and the rest of skincare pruducts go on way easier after. this cleanser has not caused any breakouts and has kept things relatively tame after these few days of use.
ive previously used sungboon’s green tomato toner pads and really liked those, and also the centell lacto essence. consistently high quality products that work very well with my skin.
id recommend this cleanser for anyone with oily skin or for those who plan on using at least a toner or essence or some type of moisturizer after cleansing as i does leave your skin dry. if you dont like using anything after cleansing, this might leave you too dry, so might not be the best for you.

I recently gifted the Centell Lacto AC Less Clearing Foam Cleanser to a coworker who, like me, is a fan of Korean skincare products. She has acne-prone skin, and I was excited to see how this cleanser would perform for her. Here’s her initial review:
First Impressions:
The cleanser comes in a sleek and compact packaging, making it easy to store in her bathroom. The pump dispenser is convenient and hygienic, allowing her to control the amount of product she uses.
Texture and Lather:
The cleanser has a rich and creamy texture that creates a gentle lather when massaged onto the skin. It’s not too foamy, which is perfect for acne-prone skin that can be easily irritated.
Effectiveness:
After just a few uses, my coworker noticed a significant reduction in acne and breakouts. Her skin looks clearer and more even-toned, and she’s reported a decrease in redness and inflammation.
Skin Barrier Care:
One of the standout features of this cleanser is its ability to care for the skin barrier. It’s formulated with lacto acid, which helps to gently exfoliate and brighten the skin while maintaining the skin’s natural pH balance.
Moisturizing and Calming:
The cleanser is also moisturizing and calming, leaving my coworker’s skin feeling soft and supple. It’s perfect for sensitive skin that can be easily irritated by harsh products.
Overall:
So far, my coworker is loving the Centell Lacto AC Less Clearing Foam Cleanser. It’s gentle, effective, and easy to use, making it a great addition to her skincare routine. I’m excited to see how it continues to perform for her in the coming weeks!

Been using this foam cleanser for over a month now and skin has not broken out even before a period. Also notice that blackheads have reduced after a week of using this daily. It has a light scent and while it cleans, it doesn’t make my skin feel dry.

At first the cleanser comes out thick but as you lather, it creates nice silky foam.
The skin felt clean yet not too dry.
Made in Korea.
Purchased September 2024 and has an expiration of March 2027.

After doing a 24-hour patch test, resulting in a positive outcome. It was time to really get the feel of what this Centell Lacto foam cleanser was going to do for me. And I’m pleased to say, it does a very decent job of cleansing and removing any trace of makeup and oil from my face. I used it exactly as directed and found it to be mild, low foaming and rinses off easily with lukewarm water. My facial skin felt clean, not dry or itching, and when I applied toner with a white cotton pad, which is what I always use with toner, there was no residue (trace) of any dirt or makeup. Which there has been with a couple of other cleansers I’ve tried.
Being a fan of some Korean Beauty Products, I realized the skincare market is being flooded by them. So before using any, I try to do a little research on the ingredients to know what I am applying to my skin. I found that with Centella it has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and hydrating properties. Centella Asiatica is already a staple ingredient in many Korean skin care products, and a growing skin care trend in the U.S. While the science is still fairly preliminary, dermatologists appreciate Centella Asiatica because it’s safe for dry, damaged and sensitive skin, with few side effects.
I’ve only been using this for a little over a month. I don’t know if that is too soon to be sure, if it is absolutely the right facial cleanser for me. Normally, I would get 5 to 7 small pimples within the month, and now, from the time I introduced this product to cleansing my face, I may have had, maybe, 4 real small ones. Only time is going to tell if the improvement continues. Either way, I am going incorporate this in my daily facial care routine and stay hopeful this is the magic one for me.
