I’ve just started using snail mucin. I had to work myself into being willing to try it.
Even though I’m a skincare nut, I tend to shy away from fads and I was certain that using
slimy secretion produced by snails HAD to be a fad.
Nope. It’s not 😂
I decided to purchase a small bottle from a high end brand. After a few weeks I wasn’t sure I could tell a difference.
I didn’t have any thought of trying more but I’m a firm believer in Korean skincare and when I saw this, I decided to give it one more go.
This bottle was enormous compared to the small bottle I had used. So I felt comfortable using more of the product.
I loved that it was fragrant free and that it wasn’t tacky or sticky the way a higher end product felt to me.
Maybe it’s because this product comes with enough to really use well- but I can actually feel a difference in my skin.
The craziest thing was that I’m now a firm believer in its ability to help with wounds.
Korean skincare for this price and this amount is an insanely good value!

I can’t bring myself to use it, but my husband swears by snail serum. He’s been using it for a year and his skin definitely looks better. This is a new brand for him, but he’s really enjoying it and says it’s probably his favorite.
He applies it morning and night. First he washes his face, then he applies this serum, and finally moisturizer. It keeps his skin smooth and tight.
We both use several skin products from South Korea. The ingredients are very high quality and safe. This product is no different. Based on the packaging, I wonder if this is marketed to younger people, but he’s old and still loves the glow!

Definitely one of the better mucin serums I’ve used! I can’t tolerate when they are too sticky, because it sets off my sensory sensitivities. This is a total pity because mucin works wonders on my skin. I found that this serum absorbs well and my skin responded well to it. I have already recommended it to a friend who is not mucin-adverse.

I haven’t used it long enough to see long term results, but my skin is soft and hydrated using this so far. It’s not sticky going into my skin, but it can be a bit messy – the serum stretches long, sticky strands as I apply it.

This nail serum is actually very easy to use because it does have a spray bottle. A lot of other serums come with things like droppers. The spray is much easier to use and I think it also makes it better if there’s more than one person using the product in the house I’ve never been comfortable with droppers and more than one person. Probably because of the spray it is a little bit thinner than a lot other serums so it’s also easier to spread and doesn’t have that stickiness. It does tighten the skin I noticed within just maybe a week or so so that’s a positive as well.

I chose this snail serum to give my skin a hydration and smoothing boost, especially with the natural benefits snail mucin is known for. With this serum, I noticed right away how hydrating it is—my skin felt more plump and fresh each morning after applying it at night. I have slightly sensitive skin, and this didn’t cause any irritation, which was a big plus.
The texture is thick, but it spreads out nicely without needing a lot of product. While the description says it’s non-sticky, I found it had a slight tackiness after application. This stickiness fades pretty quickly, but it’s something to note if you prefer serums that fully absorb without any leftover residue. The serum has no strong scent, which I appreciated, as it feels light and natural on the skin.
I also started seeing a subtle brightening effect over time, and it seemed to help keep my skin looking smooth and even-toned. I didn’t notice drastic changes in fine lines, but the hydration alone made my skin look more revitalized and fresh. Overall, it’s a good, reliable serum for hydration and smoothing, though it may not be as quick-absorbing as some might expect.

Love this serum – it’s super light-weight but moisturizing. I sometimes use in place of my daily moisturizer. Makes a huge difference in how supple and soft my skin is.

This is the biggest bottle of serum I’ve ever seen! It comes in a toner sized bottle – with a whopping 3.38 fluid ounces. Serums typically ship in tiny glass bottles so the size is quite a surprise. As such, it does not have the typical serum dropper either; this is a spray on product.
This is a very hydrating serum. I wish I could get over my aversion to the product’s origins because I see a lot of value in this serum in regards to how quickly it absorbs and how nice it feels (after it’s absorbed) on my skin. It’s certainly “different” from the vegan based serums I use (almost exclusively). I don’t know how it compares to other snail mucin products because I have so little experience with this product, but I’d venture to guess it compares very favorably.
