I am looking for something that could help with my dark eye bags and I do have some fine lines developing. These eye patches promised this, so I gave it a try. It took almost three weeks, but it came with minor damage.
It comes with a small, round pick if you do not want to contaminate the serum and patches. The container does come with a good amount of serum, I did a test on one of my hands and did not have any adverse physical reaction. Although the serum is a bit different from what I am used to, this one dried very sticky. I follow the directions to put the patch on for 15-20 minutes 3x a week. So far, I’ve just finished my first week, and I feel that the patches have a cooling effect and slight hydration on my skin. However, I found that I had to use another eye cream, as after the first eye patches the next morning there was a small dry patch of skin that appeared that wasn’t there the previous night.
The patches are slightly stretchy, I was surprised when I tried to see if I could pull it apart. I did find, that I could cut pieces of the patch off with my nails. I also find the curve of the patches to be too deep, as the way it is not it would never come in contact with the area under my eyes, especially my black bags. If I used it as is, I would have to make sure I pat the area under my eyes with serum, which kind of defeats the purpose of these patches being for the eyes.
So far, my black bag has not seen any improvement, so I will keep this up for a few more weeks to see. I do see that patches could be used all over your face, so I’ll try that on the wrinkles on my forehead too to see any obvious improvement.

These gold patches are great. It’s too soon to see any long-lasting effects, but they don’t cause irritation to my very sensitive skin, and haven’t caused any breakouts. (I’ll update if anything starts to happen.)
I love the sturdy, flat tongs that come inside the container, and they store away there, on top of the sanitation disc (that you press down on to release excess air!) that keeps it all fresh. There’s plenty of serum in the jar as well, no fear of them drying out. They can be slippery if you are trying to stay upright after first putting them on, but they eventually dry out and stay put. I usually do try to lay down when doing a mask, I just thought I’d see if I could throw these on as a fast little refresh during the day, without having to do a full-on face thing, but they slide a bit too much (like all jelly-type masks do). No fragrance.

I’ve never tried any kind of face mask or patch, but these looked like something that would be good for me in my older (close to 60) years, where my eyes sometimes get puffy and make me look tired. They come in a nice gold box with a white jar with a shiny gold top on it. (they look like a high-end beauty product).
Once you open the jar, there’s a small set of plastic tongs for you to use to grab your eye masks. Then there’s a white pull cover that keeps the contents from drying out and protect them from the elements.
Using the product is easy and straight-forward. You grab a mask with the tongs, then apply one under each eye. They are packed in some kind of gooey serum, so be ready with a paper towel to catch any runaway drips. They eventually start staying in place, and then you sit with them on for 15-20 minutes (or longer if you forget about them). Once you remove them, you can rub the remaining serum into your skin for added moisturizing.
I’ve only started to use these, so I can’t say if they will have a lasting effect, but they definitely feel nice on my skin and seem to reduce puffiness around my eyes. They were non-irritating, and I didn’t notice any specific scent or smell from them. If these will help with reducing fine lines and puffiness around my eyes, i think they are a great product.
Disappointed Reader –
There are many patches out there lately; apparently, it’s a trend. Well, it’s a good trend. I have tried multiple types – for under the eye, forehead, and even the lip area, and multiple varieties from different manufacturers – with collagen, 24K gold, hyaluronic acid, and I honestly can’t tell the difference. They do work, but the effect is the same, regardless of what type and ingredients you put on. I think the effect is in the prolonged moisture, at least that’s what I see.
These are under eye – and they work great. I leave mine overnight, and in the morning, all I have left is a thin film. The effect is short-lasting, as expected, but when you need to get ready for a special day, or even just to pamper yourself, it’s great. I love these patches and have made them a regular part of my skincare routine.
With this product, you also get quite a generous supply – 30 pairs – that will last almost six months with biweekly use. Great value for money!
Also, these come in a jar, and you have to get them out with an enclosed “spoon”. Not an issue, but you have to take extra care to make sure you don’t contaminate the product. I find this more sustainable than individual packaging, but you do have to worry about contamination and product drying out, so make sure you use it quickly after opening.
