The name sounds very scientific and I had to google melanyte to see if it was a chemical compound known to reduce under eye darkness but this is just a made up name for this cream. I’ve been using this for just about a month and I am not seeing any difference in my under eye circles. The ingredients are sound (almond oil extract and stuff) but nothing that is making a notable difference in the thickness of that skin. And that is okay if you’re just offering a great under eye cream. However this claims to get rid of circles for which I have to rate it lower than average.

This listing for Melanyte-C under eye cream says that it does not contain retinol. It is a natural based product made from licorice root, aloe vera and curcumin. The instructions on the box recommend applying 2x per day. The seller recommends applying 3x per day in the listing. I chose to apply 2x per day based on my schedule.
I have not noticed any significant change to my dark circles. I think the my skin feels softer after application. I do enjoy using the product. It smells nice and I like that the ingredients are natural. I also appreciate that the product is labeled with a lot number, production date and expiration date.
