  • Formen’s hydrogel eye masks are the leading way to deliver hydration and ingredients to the skin. These high tech jelly like patches are packed with nutrients like Vitamin C, Co-Q10 and Collagen. Use them to combat the signs of aging and to diminish those pesky under eye bags.
  • PATENTED: Made from a patented, next generation composition called polysaccharides. This material replaces the cotton sheet mask. Instead of adding ingredients to spun cotton, our eye masks are a smart jelly like material with a special breathing membrane.
  • SMART: When patches sense skin they slightly melt to release our formulation. These positively charged patches have the same helical structure as human skin. This creates a better way to lock in moisture and feels like a second skin.
  • FORMULATION: Made with the good stuff. A formulation of ingredients that work together to get you results. Collagen Enriched, Vitamin C, Shea Oil, Calendula Flower, and Coenzyme Q10.
  • Truly Unisex, made for women made for men. For all skin types by Formen, a brand sold in over 65 retail stores across Canada, the USA, and Europe.

  1. Colorgirl

My husband has undereye circles and always has. He needs an occasional eye treatment, and this seemed perfect. Let’s take a look.

    WHAT ARE THESE LIKE?
This is a set of 3 envelopes each containing a pair of eye gel pads.

    HOW TO USE
There are two sides on these eye gel pads. One is tough paper, the other is thinner paper. You take them both off to apply the pads to the eyes.

    DO THEY SMELL
There is little odor to these.

    DO THEY WORK?
Although they are not remarkable for dark circles and puffiness, they did improve my husband’s eye area.

    ANY BAD REACTIONS?
The two times my husband has used these, he fell asleep and they did not even cause problems at that point either.

    THE BOTTOM LINE
Although these are expensive and hard to tell if they truly work after only 3 applications, they are a nice treat once in a while to make him feel speciall.

    MY RATING
FOUR STARS. I wish these came with more as I think it would be better to continue over a longer period of time than just 3 applications even in a few weeks. I like that they had no bad reactions and they did seem to help some though, so only one star off.

After multiple applications there are no signs this product works to alleviate dark circles nor diminish wrinkles.

These under eye masks are pretty big and definitely take up a decent amount of real estate on your face. A lot of under eye masks tend to burn but these didn’t bother me. I didn’t see much of a different after the first use but perhaps I need to keep at it.

  4. Sailor

I have used under eye patches to help reduce dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles.

For the most part, a lot of these products are targeted towards women but now, with the increase in interest for men’s skincare, companies are creating hydrogel eye masks for men.

But not all under eye hydrogel are the same and I have to say, I’m quite impressed with Formen’s Hydrogel Eye Mask – Hydrating Treatment product.

Typically, I have seen collagen undereye treatments in packages filled with liquid to keep it moist, but for Formen’s product, both hydrogels are separated and are covered in each package.  So, it makes it nice and not as messy to remove, nor liquid falling all over the place.

I can see how this makes it user-friendly for guys to use.  So, major kudos to Formen’s for the foresight.

Also, uses natural ingredients such as vitamin C, Coenzyme Q10, Sheal Oil and Calendula Flower.

The only thing is that this set only comes with three masks (with two gels).  There are others on Amazon that are priced competitively, so it’s really up to the consumer on this one.  If you don’t mind spending $13 for three packages, then it’s all good.  Otherwise, do your research.

Overall, I wish there were 5 or more in the pack, but three for $13, that over $4 per pack.  Pricey!  But overall, the Formen’s Hydrogel Eye Mask – Hydrating Treatment is a solid product!

I tried 3 of the Formen products. Over all, they are priced similarly to the other skincare products I use including JackBlack, Marlowe, Cardon, and Wolf Project.

I don’t care much for perfume, fruity, flower or vanilla scented skin care, rather I prefer more outdoor scents like pine, eucalyptus, woodsy and such. I have used different types of clays based products but they seem to dry out my skin. The wife got to the package first to try it out before I came home, which is always a good thing.

    1. Face wash with Vitamin C is. It is lightly scent with cedarwood oil, masculine yet not overpowering
    2. Anti-aging Cream is very light weight, goes on nicely and quickly absorbed into my skin. Didn’t really have a scent to it, it’s fragrance free.
    3. Eye Mask. Is great for those long weekends where little sleep and on the road. Helps hydrate the eyes so I don’t look haggard on Monday’s back to work. I do regular sheet mask about once a week, so adding this to Sunday night routine is perfect. Just put them on, drink loads of water and multitask around the house while they do their job. I like how large they are to cover the entire under eye area.

Overall, they are reasonably priced, have a nice texture and don’t smell like flowery perfume. I think we have a winner!

Formen’s Gold Hydrogel Eye Mask are expensive looking and feel amazing on the skin. I got these gold crescents for my husband, but we both used them. Each little packet comes two per pack, are a bit thick so easy to hold and don’t fold on itself, and simple to apply. They melt/mold into the skin so they stay if you move around during the 15 min duration. They lay smooth and don’t bunch up. I felt afterwards my under eye was smooth, soft, and less puffy. We only had 3 pairs so can’t say I saw lightened circles or firmer skin, but with prolonged use the anti-aging and moisturizing ingredients would be more effective. I’d recommend if you have tired looking eyes.

He isn’t so keen on masks yet and he needs it. He has puffy eyes and bags and is definitely old. Being a good sport, he did wear the mask and even he could see results.

  8. CoCo’s Mom

Loved it! I felt refreshed and depuffed. Perfect for an early morning Sunday family get together after a late night. I’m a sucker for good packaging too, and this truly exceeded my expectation!

I ordered these anti-aging pads for my husband to try. Today we both decided to try them. I went first. I opened one of the sets. The backs had separated from the gel pads. They were very slimy and stuck together. I didn’t find them pleasant to handle. For some reason I had a hard time keeping these from sliding off my face. I figured that they would firm up a bit. The directions recommended leaving them on for 10-15 minutes so I did. When I removed them they were still very slimy. I had my husband try them out. He didn’t like them at all.
I did notice a very slight reduction in puffiness under my eyes. Unfortunately, I broke out in hives shortly after that so I had to wash the remaining moisturizer (you’re supposed to rub it into your skin) off.
Even if I didn’t have a reaction to something in these pads, I would still find it hard to justify using them as part of my overall regiment given my experience and the price.
