PROS: The pad heats well and the adjustable timer and temperature seem to work just fine. The covering is silky smooth and has an adjustable head elastic strap.
CONS: The heat pad does not fit the covering very well because the opening that it slides into interferes with the wire. This leaves the wire coming out right under your left eye. I tried flipping the mask to the other side but the heat does not penetrate the soft outer filling. Also, that soft outer lining pills easily with a lot of handling (that I did to fix it.)
Like I said, poorly designed. I liked what it is supposed to do enough that I modified the covering by putting a hole in the leftmost seam and fed the wire into the hole from the inside as I inserted the heating pad. After enough fiddling, it fits well and does not interfere with my eye. The heat comes through the thin side just fine. So I’m keeping it. If you buy it, you’ll need to make the necessary modifications.
