Selfishly, I would love to keep these a secret so that they don’t sell out, but I struggle with very hooded eyes in what I consider to be very early in my life, and want to make sure anyone sharing this issue knows about these. Facts that may help are >when researching these they seemed to cater largely to asians, but I am caucasian with hooded eyes from heredity and too much sun in my young age, and I find great success using these types of eyelid tapes >The drooping started in my early 30s and I am now 42, so it is really never too early to consider something like this product >IMPORTANT: These DO take practice, so best to buy a cheaper pack along with these to burn through while you practice, but trust me when I tell you once you get it you will want these on-hand to use instead so do yourself a favor now and order both at the same time >I believe that most bad reviews on eye tapes come from frustration learning to find just the right spot on your individual eyes to place them successfully, so if you are looking for something to replace or postpone actual eyelid surgery do consider taking the leap on these >I have been using and trying all sorts of tapes for about a year now and have not noticed that using these worsens my eyelid condition >You can use shadow with these as well as eyeliner, but in my experience powedr shadows are more complimentary and blend better *Bottom line: I have tried many brands and these are by FAR the best, they do not irritate my eyelids as cheaper brands do, and are the least visible of all brands I have tried. Any of these take practice and finding the right size to make it work – I say start small because the larger tapes by this brand can be a little more visible and obvious unless you have a lot of drooping eyelid skin or have specific eye shapes. Don’t let bad ratings discourage you from something that can help you so much. I am beyond thrilled I found these and will use until one day I break down and get the surgery if I can find the guts to do so!

This didn’t work at all. Way too small, and I couldn’t get them on without the ends of the strips getting twisted. Ugh!

My morning starts with this strips 🙂

I love these! They are very similar to the brand Contours Rx eyelid tapes, which used to be my favorite but are just too expensive. I actually like the slightly more rounded shape of these MagicStripst because hey support the inner and outer corners of my lids better. As with all eyelid tapes, you have to wipe off your lids first to make sure they’re not oily and then apply these strips to clean lids (no primer, no makeup – though you can use makeup afterwards. I don’t know about primer with these, as I don’t use primer). These tapes adhere well even though my lids will start to get oily by the end of the day. I have very heavy lids (for reference: I am a caucasian woman), and I love how these easily take 5-10 yrs. off my appearance and make me look like I’m actually well-rested. Again, as with all eyelid tapes, they take a little practice, but it is SO worth it. I can place them now so that they are unable to be seen whether or not I wear make up over them. When I do wear make up over them, I just apply my powdered eye shadow as usual. I would imagine that cream eye shadow could cause the adhesive to loosen, but I’m not sure. If creamy eye make up doesn’t work, just switch to powder. I use Cover Girl Trunaked eyeshadow over them, but I’m sure any powdered shadow would work well. These truly are fantastic!! I can’t afford (and don’t want the risk) of eyelid surgery. I fully understand that that might be the right choice for some but, if that’s not your case, just know that these give the same effect. You can use them while you’re saving up for surgery or, like me, just plan to use them indefinitely!

Like for 2 reasons at 69 years old. They make the dropping eyelids look much better and they keep my eyelashes from hitting my contact lenses.

Après en avoir tester de plusieurs marques, celui-ci tient très bien. Mais attention le maquillage ne prend pas dessus. J’ai essayé au dessus du maquillage in a bien tenu et ne se voit pas.

I have heavy Eastern European eye lids. Only the large stripes worked for me. You may need to try a few times to get the hang of it. Easy to remove yet sucker when wearing.

Do not work. Too difficult to apply and very visible under makeup.

They came with no English instructions and putting them on turned to be quite tricky. I wasted a few strips and then used tweezers as the corner I held it by wouldn’t stick to my eyelid. They do lift your eyelids, as advertised, but come off pretty quickly. Mine lasted about 3 hours before the edges started to come off. Next time I’ll try to cover them with primer and eyeshadow to see if they’d still show.
