Fifties Era –
This mask was very hydrating and had my skin looking and feeling baby smooth instantly. I was not able to use it overnight because I move too much, but was able to keep it on for an hour and half while working from home and was very impressed by the results. I will definitely be using this as needed as part of my skin care routine or if I’m having a particularly dry day.
Rag Doll –
These masks from Arocell are a different kind of hydrogel than I’m used to. They’re intended for 3-hour wear with a minimum wear time of 40 minutes. They are low-molecular collagen masks that contain heavy amounts of hyaluronic acid and these take time to absorb into the skin. The mask comes in two pieces for a better fit. One for the upper half and one for the lower half of the face which is nice for a perfect fit
These also include a lot of other ingredients such as niacinamide, panthenol, adenosine, and a slew of peptides that also take time to absorb into the skin. I left this on for three hours and it did turn colour into a transparent thin gel. After peeling off, my skin felt so plump and dewy after. The results lasted a whole week for me and it was a visible plump on my cheeks, forehead, and brow area.
I think as a once-a-week treat, this is a really good mask. It feels soothing on the skin and is definitely a more spa-like experience on the face so I’d recommend this the night before an event if you want some plumper skin. This is best suited towards dry-skin girls 🙂

Look, these are okay.. they get a lower star rating for price and advertising images. They don’t get near as translucent as they suggest from the photos. I wore these ALL NIGHT. And they turned more flesh colored beige/brown than translucent and it did make my face feel hydrated but it wasn’t a super lasting feeling and was nothing too special to write home about.

Love a gel mask! Feels more cooling and luxurious than a fabric mask.
Overnight feature is fun too, although it just kind of ends up drying out and occluding and/or taking back its fluids
Cons:
For an overnight mask especially, why include fragrance?!

While these masks are nice and I found the effects to be moisturizing, and plumping, it’s just a lot of work to wear a mask for the required time these instruct one to do.
It stays on the skin well while wearing but you’ll need to lie still for a long time.
They are a bit pricey so I would not purchase with my own money,

I found that the longer you wear these masks, the better. I was able to wear it for about 90 minutes and though some parts of the mask was already turning clear, it was obvious there was more life to the mask left. This collagen mask makes my skin feel hydrated and plump which I appreciate as I am too tired to do any other skincare by the end of the day. It stayed on well and did not slide around for me. There is fragrance and I was not too bothered by it.
