I backed this product on Kickstarter when it was launched a while ago. The mask got very dirty, I tried to wash it but that did not work. I liked the mask enough to buy a couple more as it works better than the other masks that I have tried. But keep in mind that when it gets dirty it is difficult to clean. I ordered two of the grey ones and I noticed on the one I am using now it is getting dirty by the nose. I would recommend that if you have an oily face that you order the black one, not the grey one.

The only downside is that it’s difficult to sleep with if you sleep on the side, and the strap must go over your ears, which may annoy some.

I was surprised that something where hygiene is so important because it will be in contact with the eyes, the eye mask was not in any sort of plastic bag or any other kind of sealed enclosure. Although the manufacturer states in answer to a question “our product is presented in vacuum-sealed packaging,” that is simply false. It is packaged in a nice, round, cardboard container that is not sealed in any way at all. There is no way to determine if it has perhaps been used and returned. My eyes are too important to risk contamination by an unsanitary eyemask, no matter how nice the design. Alas, I was not able to return it within the return period, so $45 wasted. Not a trustworthy company.

Only mask that truly lives up to it’s claims. I travel frequently and work Air Ambulance, and need to sleep / nap when it permits. This product is indeed expensive but if you can take the plunge, it’s the absolute end point in sleeping masks. Comfy, and freakishly a complete and utter blackout!! But isn’t that what we want? Just do it and buy it. You won’t be disappointed!

If you have dry eyes this is essential. I wear mine to bed w air conditioning on. My dr told me NOT to wear plastic over eyes. It can stimulate germ growth. This is fabric w loads of blinking space to keep adding moisture to your eyes

These fit snugly – or not, depending on how you adjust the strap. The inside that goes against your face is feather soft, and there are two formed indentations so your eye lids / eye lashes are not moving against the inside mask surface.

They’re comfortable and soft, and they do indeed give total blackout, but they wrap around too far and interfere with over-ear headphones. Noise canceling is severely reduced.
